Republican presidential candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich nixed his idea Wednesday to form a new agency to spread Judeo-Christian values across the globe, according to The Columbus Dispatch, instead saying that he would expand the existing government broadcast agency, Voice of America to serve the purpose.
Kasich told NBC Tuesday (during a larger discussion on his plan to combat the Islamic State) that he wanted to create a new government agency intended to spread Western values and teach what it means "to be a part of a Christian-Judeo society."

John never met a big-government program he didn’t like.
John, come back to Ohio. You’re embarrassing yourself.
Get lost John, take your campaign with you.
He’s pandering to evangelicals, etc. Would mean absolutely nothing even if he were serious.
Buh bye, Kasich.
We don’t need a government agency to promote a government version of “Judeo-Christian” values.
How about a take off of the Ford WIN button.
Learn Our Ways...LOW,
Oh never mind...
Are there any gov’t programs Kasich would like to see eliminated?
It is phony anyway. He is a social leftist in many areas and so no thank you. He wouldn’t know Judeo-Christian values if they bit him in the bum.
A new government agency?
Yeah. No real band of disciples wants Kasich speaking for them. Or the ACLU. Or "Voice of America."
They, with empowerment by the Holy Ghost, can perform the task given given to them of recruiting, inducting, and indoctrinating more disciples.
Anything else is phony.
Great. Maybe Kasich can also add 2 Thessalonians 3:10 to his plank and ditch the Obamacare crap.
I’m a Cruz man, but I actually saw the interview. Kasich did not propose any new agency, but said it could be easily done via current means. I thought it was a decent idea to promote Judeo-Christian values to the middle east. Flood the middle east with messaging that the US requires fully equal rights for women, freedom of speech and religion, etc.
“John, come back to Ohio.Youâre embarrassing yourself.”
Yes, and Christie, Rubio, Lindsey, Boosh, et. al. Need to go back home as well. When I listen to this turd spouting off about all of his years of “service,” it makes me gag. People like him are at the root of what’s wrong with America. We really do need term limits nationally. Elective office needs to stop being a “career” with retirement benefits!
