I’m skeptical there are less Mexicans, but even if there is we have plenty of others breaking in from other Central American countries.
Not that I was a huge Romney fan, but it appears that his "self deportation" would have worked. And his calling Russia the biggest geo-political threat (only to be mocked by Obama and the media) turned out to be more right than anyone else at that time. I can't help but think that if some of the conservative Christians that stayed home because he wasn't "pure" enough, we might be in a better position now. (Flame retardant suit on, even though I realize Romney was not a Conservative, but was only conservative on some issues).

This is the Ministry of Propaganda trying to convince you that millions are not still crossing the border illegally. The flow is now mainly from points south of Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc.
Some are coming from as far away as China.
I don’t doubt that some Mexicans have decided to go home. Many only come to get as much as they can, planning to go home.

More good news, the mass immigration to Europe has reversed and the photos of long lines we have seen are Muslims returning to Syria.
There may have been a drop in Mexico immigrants but I’m not sure that applies to other
countries south of Mexico. Mexico has had some industrial economic growth such as auto
production that may have helped provide jobs.
