Donald Trump is looking increasingly likely to win the Republican nomination in 2016 â and it may not even be close.
Four months after being widely dismissed as a celebrity candidate who would wither under scrutiny, Trump isnât just defying political gravity. Heâs powering past it as he expands his leads in both national polls and critical early voting states.
A new Reuters poll conducted mostly after the November 13 attacks in Paris found Trump with more than double the support of his nearest rival nationally, taking 36 percent of Republican primary voters to Ben Carsonâs 14.6 percent. A Morning Consult poll released Tuesday showed the billionaire with an even loftier lead, polling 38 percent to Carsonâs 19 percent as Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz languished in the single digits.
A University of Massachusetts survey released Monday shows a closer contest â but Donald Trump still manages to outpoll the fading Ben Carson by nine points.

I saw another link where Trump chastised Pam Geller for taunting Muslims, and yet another where pretty recently he voiced his support for ethanol subsidies.
And I found links on my own that prove the was the FOLLOWER and Ted Cruz the LEADER in the Syrian Refugee issue -- Trump didn't start to voice hesitation as to accepting them here until AFTER Cruz stated clearly that we should avoid Syrian refugees in the U.S. because of the danger they pose, back on Sept. 9; Trump is on record the very day before as saying we just have to take some of them because it's the humanitarian thing to do!
Seven years of a national TV show promoting himself as a genius has worked its magic on a lot of Trump supporters. He is indeed a brilliant self-promoting businessman and I truly believe a sincere patriot. But Jimmy Carter and Dan Rather were sincere patriots, too.
Man. What is it going to take to wake people up that Trump is just Arnold Schwarzenegger on a national scale?
He did, but those suffering from severe TDS post lies, because reality is too painful for them to accept.
Why would a non-US news agency care who wins the Republican nomination?
Okay, you won't answer my question. I'm going to assume the answer is "no".
I think news organization have a long track record of being biased and I think foreign governments have an obvious interest in who gets elected on our country.
Even though Trump hadn't started talking about being hesitant (that's all, just that the U.S. should "be careful") in accepting Syrian refugees until -- what an incredible coincidence!!! -- the same day (Sept. 9) that Ted Cruz declared that we should halt them coming here because they pose a danger -- and Trump was ON RECORD the day before (Sept. 8) saying that we just had to take in at least some Syrian refugees because it was the humanitarian thing to do!
Coulter has betrayed conservatism many times. Beware.
Trump has only ever been a businessman and a showman; he now is switching careers to politician and statesman with ZERO job experience in that field, yet aspires to get the top political job in the U.S. and arguably the world.
Medication can be taken for TDS.
So now reuters is a foreign government.
I’m reminded of a poster on another forum
who, in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon
incident, said Al Qeada must have been
pulling the strings. When someone objected
that the guy looked too Western, he said
they must have trained him to walk with a
western gait.
My point is that no one wastes resources on
such trivia as pushing the results of a poll
in another country. The return on investment
is not there, while their credibility could
be at risk.
Medved says that the Dems attack Trump because they want to run against him. Medved went on to talk about stolen strawberries.
Oh, really?!!! Yeah, he’s way too much for dainty Republicans.
He’s on my radio now - I can hear him clicking his steel balls.
You may be correct, so why not link to as credible a source as kygolfman uses in his post #80 to prove it?
Post links to prove your claim that Trump supported Reagan. Thanks.
The behavior of a candidate's supporters speaks volumes about the candidate.
Big Ed, you're making Trump look bad.
Fox news with theoretical Trump hangups included would be: Trump 34 Rubio 12 Cruz 10 Carson 8 Bush 8. Morning Consult’s actual NH Poll yesterday - Trump 33 Carson 15 Cruz 9 Rubio 9 Bush 5
Trump lives in your brain...
It’s not fascist to impose controls on Islam, any more than it was fascist to control, indeed make illegal, communism during the cold war. Islam is an ideology bent on world conquest.
And a ,lot of links that ARE posted, are incorrect...but you swallow them with glee.
Do you have enough Rolaids on hand after reading the headline news in this post?
