Around 500 fuel tanker vehicles transporting illegal oil from Syria to Iraq for processing have been destroyed by Russiaâs Air Forces, the General Staff said.
In recent years, Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and other extremist groups have organized the operations of the so-called âpipeline on wheelsâ on the territories they control,â Russian General Staff spokesman Colonel General Andrey Kartapolov said.
Hundreds of thousands of tons of fuel have been delivered to Iraq for processing by trucks and the revenue generated from these illegal exports is the one of the terroristsâ main sources of funding, he said.
The spokesman displayed images showing convoys comprised of hundreds of vehicles transporting oil to back his assertion.
âIn just the first few days, our aviation has destroyed 500 fuel tanker trucks, which greatly reduced illegal oil export capabilities of the militants and, accordingly, their income from oil smuggling,â Kartapolov stressed.
The spokesman also said that the Russian military has begun developing proposals for joint military action with the French Navy against the terrorists in accordance with an order by President Vladimir Putin.
âThis joint work will begin after the arrival of aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Syrian shores,â Kartapolov explained.
Russia has been bombing Islamic State and other terror groups in Syria since September 30 at the official request of countryâs president, Bashar Assad.
On Tuesday, Russiaâs fleet of 25 long-range bombers joined Su-34, Su-25, and Su-24M warplanes conducting operations in Syria to double the number of airstrikes against the militants.
Good!!!
They should have done that a long time ago.
Which is more likely:
Our satelites could not detect 500 oil trucks.
Obama LIKES ISIS.
Er, what American oil company is buying that oil? Maybe that’s why Obungu is not bombing the oil.
Hmmm, Trump was right again. Imagine that.
I guess Obama couldn’t get the EPA to sign off on the air strikes ...
Da, da! Alahwahoo Whackbar!
( Obama would not do it because the Saudis are buying that ISIS oil.)
Dang did I just say that? Yeah because my own spineless president won't do the job because he doesn't won't to hurt his widdle friends...I woulda got $hitcanned for this back in the '90's...lol
Obama will Bomb ISIS with some more bundles on Cash
Our satelites could not detect 500 oil trucks.
Obama LIKES ISIS.
⬠but he can track the daily movements and communications of all the Supreme Court Justices to make them do what he wants them to
The fact that the US hasn’t done this yet should be The Smoking Gun that President Obama never intended to destroy ISIS. When does the impeachment trail begin?
Exactly
Obama has been “Bombing” ISIS for 18 months, and yet the Primary Revenue Stream for them has been virtually unmolested.
After Putin threatens to expose WHO is funding ISIS, Obama bombs a JUNK YARD of ISIS Oil trucks, and even drops leaflets beforehand, telling the locals what is about to happen!
So now, the Russians, and THE FRENCH, go after the actual RUNNING Oil Trucks.
Meanwhile, the US (non-FOX) Mainstream Media doesn’t DARE to speak one word about it, such is the fear of blowback from the Liberal Fascists.
We’ve been living in 1930’s Germany for a while now, folks.
So what have we been bombing empty buildings, camels, desert sand or maybe the Kurds?
Thanks that is what I meant.
BOOOM
Why hasn't 0dunga organized the creation of a safe zone in Syria so as to halt the refugee problem? Hello? Anybody home in that White House? Hello?
At this point it's OBVIOUS why 0dunga has done very little or NOTHING to stop ISIS or the refugee invasion of EU and U.S.
