A bomb that downed a Russian plane in Egypt last month had been placed in the aircraft's main cabin not in the cargo compartment as reported earlier, the daily Kommersant said on Wednesday citing an unnamed source.
The newspaper, citing a source close to the investigation of the crash, said the epicenter of the explosion appeared to have been at the rear of the cabin near the tail section.
"According to a preliminary version, the bomb could have been laid under the passenger seat by the window. Its operation has led to the destruction of the frame and depressurization of the cabin, which had an explosive character," the newspaper said.
Probably disguised as a clock in a briefcase.
Does this validate the much-maligned video of the bombing?
Carry on by staff or passenger ?
But everyone knows that you only do clocks in a briefcase for science projects and not for violent acts....right?
On a side-note....did the kid in question bring his science-project to the White House to show the President? Hmmm....wonder....
What video?
Possibly one of the ground service workers or caterers who have free access to planes.
Cleaners or ground staff.
Could it have been carried on with food? What is located in this part of the plane?
Scroll for pics of wreckage with suspicious ‘inside out’ configurations.
According to Obama it could be a crock pot.

If a service worker brought it on, they would have unfettered access so no need to disguise it, only make sure it is hidden well once on the plane.
Post #8 shows what ISIS claims to be the bomb. Makes sense that a worker could have put it in with the other cans of soda, and it would be hidden in plain sight.
Perhaps an ISIS terrorist posed as a beverage vendor, uniform, van and all?
Wasn’t the plane turning around. Maybe they had found it.
Who pushed the rocker switch?
I have a question.
If that is the IED used to take down the Russian airliner, why is it ‘intact’ ?
