Obama characterized the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing attacks as “two brothers and a crock pot†on Monday in an attempt to explain the power of individual terrorist threats.
Speaking after a meeting with the G20 in Turkey, Obama referenced the Tsarnaev brothers in talking about the Paris terrorist attacks that killed 129 people and injured more than 350 on Friday. He said the marathon bombings show the devastation that can be caused by a small group of dedicated people.
“That was a serious attempt at killing a lot of people by two brothers and a crock pot,†he said. “It gives you some sense of the kinds of challenges that can be involved in this going forward.â€
Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev killed three people and injured more than 260 others by setting off two pressure cooker bombs on Boylston Street in April 2013.

Its unbelievable that we are letting him get away with this stuff as the chief terrorist and instigator. He is essentially at the head of the Muslim Brotherhood with all his funding of “Syrian rebels” and pushing “refugees” across the world to create terror. He is the new Osama Bin Laden. Does no one really care? This asshole should be impeached for treason and locked up as soon as possible.
They must have had one bad ass pot roast in there.

I really hope that the good people of Boston are visually and vocally outraged at this.
Yes, they did.
He made no mention of his governments failure to heed warnings that these two were plotting something.
“Crock-Pot” has a little poetic alliteration going on with the vowels, and while it does not actually rhyme, has a somewhat lyrical lilt to it.
“Pressure Cooker” is more difficult to say, as it has twice as many syllables, no alliteration or rhyme, and does not trip off the tongues as easily as “Crock-Pot”.
Obama’s changing history and belittling the suffering of American Citizens who were killed or dismembered at a Traditional Patriotic Family Event, for the sake of rapping a lyric, is particularly heinous to me as a songwriter. I can’t imagine trivializing such an event for the sake of a lyric. It is perhaps this deep respect for the victims that has determined that I never wrote a song about 9/11. It would be too tempting to manipulate the facts for the sake of the music, and I will not do that.
Yet...obama does this kind of thing all the time. It’s embarrassing.
