Their huddle over a coffee table in Antalya, Turkey, on Sunday came after the extremist group claimed responsibility for Friday's horrific coordinated attacks in Paris that left 129 people dead and hundreds injured.
The two leaders chatted in a foursome with Obama's national security adviser Susan Rice and a Russian aide.
Their meeting was visible on a television feed provided by the summit's host country, but their conversation couldn't be heard.
The White House says the 35-minute meeting centered on talks to end Syria's civil war and that the two leaders agreed that the country needs a political transition led by Syrians. The transition would be preceded by negotiations mediated by the United Nations and a cease-fire.
The two leaders also discussed the conflict in Ukraine and that Obama expressed condolences

If “Obama” doesn’t already have the Order of Lenin there is no justice.
Defintely. Obama is “being talked to” .... Putin’s body language is very much in charge of the White House curtain-hanger.

Concur. Putin’s body language is in charge of the discussion. Obama is being scolded, or talked down to.
Both appear to be on the edge of their seats.
One is speaking at a Kenyan 101 level, making no sense at all.
The other is using Russian Advanced Level and probably making at least some sense.
Putin: “allow me to explain once again: ISIS are ‘bad guys’...you seem confused on this part.”
That's a real confidence building team right there I tell ya....
Two affirmative action hires versus a real winner of power. Rice is probably the dimmest bulb in the administration.
Now boys....if you don't fine that funny....then you have no sense of humor or irony what so ever...!!
