BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles is allowing a Pastafarian woman to wear a colander in her driverâs license picture.
This comes after The American Humanist Associationâs Appignani Humanist Legal Center's attorneys were enlisted to assist with the woman's appeal after she was denied the right to wear it in her license photo by the RMV.
Lindsay Miller says she is a Pastafarian, also known as a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which is a secular religion that believes the existence of a "spaghetti monster" to be just as possible as the existence of God. So she filed an administrative appeal and was scheduled to attend an appeal in October about the matter, but it was postponed and the RMV has decided to let her wear the spaghetti strainer in her photo.
Miller said, "As a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I feel delighted that my Pastafarianism has been respected by the Massachusetts RMV. While I don't think the government can involve itself in matters of religion, I do hope this decision encourages my fellow Pastafarian Atheists to come out and express themselves as I have."

The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or Pastafarian is a spoof "religion" that's been around since the 80's. It's made up of atheists mocking other religions. The people involved are mostly just harmless eccentric kooks. But this shows how a dangerous precedent started now that some states allow muzzie women to wear those black Hefty bags with eye slits when they get driver's licenses.
Praise be to the Spaghetti Monster, and to the sauce which he brings....
As long as it wasn’t a Hijab.
This has been going on for a long time with the colendars:

She is a catch, I would date her in two seconds. Any woman that can show the absurdity of Islamo-Nazism is cool in my book. Wear a burka? Well why not a colander as well?
Months ago I went into a local Target and saw a person, presumably a woman, standing near a cashier line fully covered including a masked face,
Obviously a Muslim.
Not having seen that before here it gave me the absolute creeps.
It was like coming across someone who had their whole body burned in a fire, yet in this case she chose to look so ugly.
If this woman answers your Tinder Dating Ad, think twice, maybe even thrice before giving her your email and location.
it is if yo momma be a cannibal!
Don't ever go to Minneapolis. Saw LOTS of "covered" women there a couple of years ago on a trip through the midwest. I wasn't so sure I was still in the United States. It was frightening and sad to see the sheer number of Muslims in Minneapolis, especially so many of them pushing baby carriages.
Then hubby and I went to a Minnesota Twins game at Target Field. Ahhh... a rare Muslim-free zone at last.
All hail His noodly goodness.
Moronic, for sure. But still more likely than the existence of a "god" that wants his followers to kill all non-followers be they men, women or children, i.e., Allah.
One bunch of little minded people doing a send up on a second bunch of little minded people.
What’s not to laugh at.
The macaroni god is the ultimate example, I suppose, of a deity who does pretty well only what you want.
I’m sure he appreciates the new friends, with or without ‘benefits’.
I have to think ‘His noodely appendage” is the only toughing that lib will ever get.
So are they claiming that they have attained recognized status? It took Clinton’s approval to grant that protection to the Scientologists.
Are they claiming that these are their HONESTLY held beliefs? They are dumb as a sh** swastika smeared on a wall then.
Is she a member of the Reformed Alfredan sect, or an Orthodox Marinaran?
