The Democratic presidential frontrunner reminisced about her brief exchange with the young man during a small-scale event called Candidate Café in Manchester, N.H., on Tuesday.
âHe looks at me and he goes, âUm, how old are you?â And I said, âWell I am 26. Iâll be 27.â And he goes, âWell, thatâs kind of old for us.â And then he says to me â and this is what gets me â âMaybe the dogs will take you,â meaning the Army,â Clinton said to a small group of undecided voters over breakfast, which was organized by local ABC affiliate WMUR-TV and the New Hampshire Institute of Politics and Political Library.
Clinton has told the story several times since at least the mid-1990s. But some have questioned whether a Yale law school graduate who led anti-war protests, campaigned for anti-war presidential candidates and was teaching law at the University of Arkansas would want to enlist in 1975: the year she got married and the Vietnam War ended.

The answer to your question is ,,,,, YES ,,,,,, she is very stupid ,,, after all we know she was named after Sir Edmond Hillary she took on a mid eastern attack upon arriving in Iraq and knows it was a video that caused the Benghazi massacre .
I thought she voluntered to be an astronaut too. Of course, I guess she could have been a marine astronaut.
Seriesly, when has Hillary ever been truthful about anything.
Carl Bernstein. That would be the Bernstein of “Woodward and...” He wrote a book about Hillary in 2008 called A Woman in Charge. In the book Bernstein noted that Hillary has always had a “difficult relationship with the truth.”
In plain English that means Hillary is a pathological liar.

There is nothing this so-called woman says that I believe. She’s a worse liar than 0bama.
According to Hillary, when she was 14 she wrote a letter to NASA expressing interest in being an astronaut. NASA replied in the negative, saying they didn't take women as candidates.
Totally unverifiable. But Hillary uses the story to one, show how brave she is (even when a child), and two, to play part of the victim yet again.
She sets foot in a recruiting station and has the nerve to say she was “almost” a Marine.
In your dreams, sister.
It is totally verifiable.
She would have the letter she received in response.
The biographies written about her say that she said she applied for NASA, not the Marines.
Man, I wish the Marines had taken her.
Why didn’t she apply to the Army ???
Like all Democrats lying is embedded in their DNA.
“Truth is not a value of the Left” (Dennis Prager)
You're right, of course! I've read a couple of articles about this Hillary/NASA thing, and not one of them mentions Hillary producing such a letter.
That in itself doesn't say much. I don't have every letter I received as a kid. But I might have saved something I got from NASA.
As I'm sure you'll agree, it's the pattern here that's important. NASA - Marines - sniper fire, on and on it goes.
Any day now, I expert her to claim that she was a secret adviser to Pope John Paul II.
Uh, Hillary....muff diving in the straits of Huma do not make you a Marine.
Well she DID dodge sniper fire in Bosnia .....
oh wait, that was a lie also.
