A painful exchange with a young student who's organizing for free public colleges, cancellation of all student debt and $15/hour minimum wage for all campus employees. She doesn't really know how to pay for it, unfortunately.

I think it’s about time we go back to where to be a voter you have to be a property owner.
John Wayne was a most astute artist. You can scan all his films and not find a left-wing or anti-American writer. He and Pappy (who know who he is, right?) knew who to employ and who not to employ. It’s one of the reasons he is so reviled among modern day artistes.
He was having fun. I think he trying very hard not to laugh. He didn’t want to call her a moron, but instead he let her prove it herself.
It looked like a parent scolding a child, “why did you hit your sister? Was that very nice? I don’t think you would like it if someone hit you.”
She is going to a private college that costs $45,530 per year in tuition and fees (before room and board).
She claims her parents are working class and on government aid.
If she went to her private school from Pre-K to 12th grade, it would have cost $438,460 in current dollars.
She will spend probably about $250,000 to $275,000 on her bachelor's degree.
To help pay for this, she is working as a community organizer.
I have no doubt she will pursue a master's degree.
She would be invited to the WH, and hug Obama.
That would her whole highlight of the sorry edumuhcation she got.
Unless she graduated to become another community organizer or Mao-loving academic like Anita Dunn.
It's not just that her thinking is muddled and that she is unable to deal with the profound contradictions between what she has been taught in her liberal arts courses versus reality, it's the smug sense of entitlement ... that someone else owes her.
I don't doubt for a minute that she -- and millions like her -- believes with all her heart (her mind is clearly not involved) what she is saying. That the problem isn't one of economics or of liberty; rather that it's the result of the "richest one percent" not "contributing" their "fair share". (She may not know much, but she has a working knowledge of the Left's stock phrases.)
You remind me of my father when he had to put up with my stupid liberal ideas at 18. Never as stupid as this kid, I hope, but like most kids, I eventually returned home. (Well, I saw what was taken out of my first paycheck!) God bless fathers who love their daughters, FRiend.
That's fine. It's a good idea. It's philosophically conservative. It's even - dare I say it - a wise use of taxpayer dollars.
And it freaks the hell out of the Leftist academic establishment. Because they know it's coming. And this vast, expensive academic wasteland they have built cannot be sustained financially once it does.
Idiot girl in the video thinks this wasteland is eternal, and must be propped up with as much funding as its architects demand. Her premise is wrong, even if her basic idea for free education is not. What she wants can't be done in the way we currently do things - but it can be done. It's just that vast herds of Leftist oxen need to be gored to do it.

It would not surprise if Cavuto cut him off as FOX is so in the tank for leftists - either HELLry or the GOP-Establishment. Same result with either of them.
Wow! Cavuto was merciful, pulling his punches throughout the conversation. He could see early on that this girl was a kool-aid drinking talking doll. His problem was how do we stretch this out into a ten minute interview without (more obviously) intellectually pistol whipping her, which would make him the bad guy.
Still, how about a big hand for the little lady, who shows enough inner strength, not to close down completely and go mute. At that age, I would have gone mute, even catatonic, in front of Cavuto trying to make money sense. She kept coming back with her most popular talking points. Less Selfies and more studying the three R’s young lady.
