Missou Professor Dale Brigham resigned this week following outrage over his refusal to cancel an exam on campus.
Missouri Professor Dale Brigham
A beloved University of Missouri professor resigned after he refused to cancel a school exam during the hunger strike and athlete’s boycott.
Campus Reform reported:
Dr. Dale Brigham, considered one of the most beloved professors at the University of Missouri, has resigned after refusing to cancel an exam for students who claimed to feel âunsafe.â
âIf you donât feel safe coming to class, then donât come to class,â Dr. Brigham told his students. âI will be there, and there will be an exam administered in our class,â he continued, imploring his students to stand up to the bullies on campus. âIf you give into bullies, they win. The only way bullies are defeated is by standing up to them.â
Dr. Brigham was sharply criticized in the media for requiring his students to attend class and take their exam. Salon ran a story with the headline âWhite Missouri professor shames black students for heeding violent threats.âThe Washington Post featured similar coverage of âa white professorâ who âchallenged his students to come to class.â
Those upset with Dr. Brighamâs decision to hold class took to Twitter calling for Brigham to be firedand calling him âa failure as a human being.â
Under intense pressure, Dr. Brigham has both cancelled the exam and resigned from the university, according to screenshots posted online of an email from Dr. Brigham to his students.
Now this…
The race activist who was responsible for getting Professor Brigham to resign does not even attend Mizzou and lives in Houston.

It’s WTF Von is a comedian, viner, activist and blogger.
She was celebrating tonight.
I'm a bad person making a white professor resign from his job, but when white police fatally shoot black males for no reason, it's justice?
1992.
i knew it was game over at that point.
this is Mao’s Cultural Revelution being repeated. Waiting for the re-education camps and death camps for dissenters
Who’s gonna back them up? They just made the president quit, for God’s sake.
First will be the roaming bands of young red guards, publicly shaming counter-revolutionary whiteys. Oh, wait, we already have that.
No discussion of competing theories as to why Twain did that, huh. (A more conventional read is that by brutal frankness he was focusing criticism upon the manners of the people who were calling black people the N word.)
No, we need to be teaching Von Dach.
True, but they prefer Caesar. Before any tears are shed for the University[ies] keep in mind that this all began in the 1960’s when the Professors were encouraging the spitting upon of Servicemen and women as they returned from Viet Nam. The tiger they spawned and reared to eat others has turned upon them and is in the process of eating them.
If half of those enrolled showed up, 17,000...just sayin’.
Rush has been *on fire* this week pointing out your sentiments.
Rushbo has been very, very entertaining lately. ;)
Looks bad for Mizzou, I would think. Do they play this weekend? BYU or somebody? Ah yes! That’s the case! I’ve got to believe it’s going to be a circus, if not a football game.
He’s probably better off leaving. I think anyone with a modicum of sanity should get out of that place.
Yup, they are playing BYU, & I am sure BYU is not looking forward to the spectacle—tho BYU may beat Mizzou because I am sure the Tigers have been somewhat distracted over the past few days....
As someone who attended Mizzou and absolutely loved the time spent in Columbia, I am so saddened by the chain of events that have taken place in Missouri over last couple years :(
Maybe he was just FTFU with all of the BS.
Why would they? I'm sure they're down with the cause.
No way. A federal court would reinstate every dime, plus reparations.
Blacks have allowed themselves to be set back for DECADES from the BLM.
Against bells?
If the university had made Veterans' Day a university holiday, the problem would not have arisen.
