That was a nice line. Cruz is doing a good job of being the experienced track record true conservative candidate.
He’s well positioned.
If Carson and Trump supporters fall off, Cruz is a legit choice for them. An outsider with insider experience and a consistent conservative with a compelling personal story.
I think we saw Bush’s last stand tonight. He’s going to be at the kiddie table next debate.
To: Isara
Senator Cruz shined brightly tonight.

Too little, too late, Ted.
Two years ago you tried to raise the H-1B quota by 500%.
One year ago you told the editorial board of the Union Leader newspaper in New Hampshire that you would not deport any illegal immigrants who had obeyed all other USA laws.
To: TigerClaws
That's good.
I like Cruz but can't find out where he stands on what to do with illegals in the US now, 14th Amnd, anchor babies.
He also needs to change his stance on H1B visa increases and legal immigration quotas.

Best line of the debate, and exactly what I was thinking re: minimum wage.
The minimum wage is an affront to the laws of supple and demand. If we want to raise Americans out of poverty and raise wages, we must cut the endless supply of cheap labor.

It applies to low wage degreed visa workers too. I heard the line live last night and didn’t get to hear if he’d included that in his smack on the media.

This is disingenuous considering he wants to increase h-1B visas by 300%.

I couldn’t agree more. End the flood of cheap labor (legal or illegal) into the USA and allow the free market to serve citizen labor, and the need for minimum wage laws evaporates.
Funny (not ha ha) how the elites and puppet string pullers in
both Parties, and their MSM conveniently never mention that immigration can harm Americans in a declining job market. The commercial last night by NumbersUSA of a speech by Barbara Jordan -D was very effective.
