The two Republican presidential debates on the Fox Business Network are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST tonight. They are being held at the Milwaukee Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The 'kiddie table'at 7 p.m.: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The main event at 9 p.m.: Donald Trump of New York, Dr. Ben Carson of Florida, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina of California, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
FBN described the debates and moderators:
The first debate will be one hour in length and moderated by FBN anchors Trish Regan, Sandra Smith & WSJ's Washington Bureau Chief Gerald Seib.
The second debate will span two hours and be moderated by FBN anchors Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and WSJ Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker.
The debates will focus on the most important business and economic issues facing the United States including job creation, social security and taxes.
Whoever put together that montage should have had a 10-penny nail hanging out of Bush’s mouth.
He eats nails for breakfast, ya know.
Got bumped out for low poll numbers.
DRUDGE REPORT 28 seconds ago
REUTERS 5-DAY ROLLING POLL: TRUMP 29.6%, CARSON 20.4%, RUBIO 8.3%, CRUZ 7.5%... MORE... http://bit.ly/1WLK0S7
From what I’m seeing, everyone pretty much agrees on the diagnosis. They also agree on the solution.
The question of me is: Who can actually implement the solution once we get them into office?
The following will bring the truest Conservative up there tonight, into his own. First, when asked about his “lies”, Carson turns it around with burning hot coals on the lib drivebys which few can disagree with and which elicits an ovation, then Ted Cruz steps in and breaks his silence on Donald Trump and eloquently takes him to the cleaners for DT’s most unethical, nasty, mean and self-serving piling-on towards Carson immediately after the Politico/NYT/WaPo lying hit piece. You know. The biblical unjust equivalent to bearing false witness? And Trump steps in it again with his trademark gregarious arrogance by refusing to retract nor issue DC an apology for his misdirected and unethical behavior for a Republic An in a primary race. It’s plausible. I do know this is going to come up.
All the undercard candidates (even Christie) are doing well thus far.
Yep, for Conservatives. Both are America First.
But we share the party with a bunch of Republicans and they want their guy to win.
The moderators are really asking questions about the economy etc, and not irrelevant questions
Trish asks the question how can you get people to work, when they can make more on welfare than if they get a job. This is why we are sort of screwed. Hellary will just scare them into voting democrat.
So far, all questions have been about about policy—mainly jobs. No ‘gotcha’ questions or trying to pit one against the other.
Christie standing out so far
Santorum - good answer on pro family tax code, keeping marriages in tact
Good on Huckabee for pointing out the difference between Social Security and Welfare.
Would stay and listen to the debate (local radio station streaming Fox Business instead of Mark Levin) which is great but have a lecture to go to in an hour:
Ms. Condoleezza Rice hosted by the University of the Southwest (a Christian university). A while back they hosted Ben Carson.
Yep. He’s been biting them since he noticed that no voters want him or the rest of the nasty dynasty. Saves on manicures though.
Well, we’re here to fight the corrupt, treasonous bastards.
Christie is actually a first class speaker and communicator, although not my guy.
My friend is driving her, small world.
LOL!
Put down the crack pipe and step away...
