The two Republican presidential debates on the Fox Business Network are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST tonight. They are being held at the Milwaukee Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The 'kiddie table'at 7 p.m.: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The main event at 9 p.m.: Donald Trump of New York, Dr. Ben Carson of Florida, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina of California, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
FBN described the debates and moderators:
The first debate will be one hour in length and moderated by FBN anchors Trish Regan, Sandra Smith & WSJ's Washington Bureau Chief Gerald Seib.
The second debate will span two hours and be moderated by FBN anchors Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and WSJ Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker.
The debates will focus on the most important business and economic issues facing the United States including job creation, social security and taxes.
So, what are you going to do? Go by gross income with no allowance for legit expenses? This would kill most small businesses in their 1st few years, where often expenses exceed receipts.
Im watching the debate again...Forgot how bad Kasich was regarding the opening question:)
Yeb? Ive seen worse candidates with little to offer (Howard Baker and Bush in 1980 â worthless!!) But he has some good political instincts.
Kasich is a fine executive and a good man...His policies are often cringe worthy, but he has some worthwhile experience (armed services committee.. etc.) Heâs been pretty good for Ohio to boot.
So yeah...They could all have a place in the next administration.
We are pretty lucky this cycle.
I can tolerate Carly - but Kasich? OMG, that obnoxious dolt’s oratory worse than nails screeching across on a chalk board - I cannot stand him ...
And after his asinine rant about not deporting the interlopers? I do not understand how such a twit, whose poll numbers are in the toilet, is STILL on the stage with the adults.
I am so looking forward to the day he gets booted. Just a total loser. HE should be the guy doing the mail route - that’s about all he’s good for. And when the neighborhood dogs start yapping and nipping at his butt, then he’ll be getting a taste of his own medicine, because he’s just like them - a yapping mutt that never knows when to shut up.
Rubio’s dad was a bartender.
I know, I’ve said this previously, but I’m trying to keep up with Rubio :)
You’re probably right my friend. As I watch the opening of the debate Kasich and Bush are both making me bury my head under the covers:)

I had to put Cavuto’s after-debate show on hold, so just watching it now. My puppy is sick but managed to eat $50 of my cash.
The one lady just showed the FaceBook stats.
I don’t understand this fascination with Carson, but I guess FaceBook is his hang out.
He comes in first there over Trump, but on Drudge Carson is rated quite low, where I think he belongs.
Ut oh...did Louie literally eat $50 cash? Or, cost that, because he’s not feeling well?
Poor little thing :( I hope he gets better, fast.
I don’t get the Carson thing, on FB, either. Seems awfully strange.
LOL.
Yes, peas and carrots!!
I thought Cruz won the debate, with Rubio turning in a good performance. fiorina and Carson were pretty good too. I thought Kasich was condescending, nasty, and a disgrace. Bush wasn’t as bad as normal, and Trump didn’t do anything splashy, but had another bad moment with Fiorina.
Military spending under Reagan was around 5.5% of GDP. Today military spending as a percentage of GDP is down to about 3.0%.
I think Rand is wrong about military spending being too high, especially when one considers that defending the country is the number one Constitutional job of the Federal Government.
And if I remember correctly Rand said that their was AGW.
Another GOPe infiltrator, infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome ... Get a clue - and a life, while your looking.
There is a difference between throwing money at a problem and building a military. There is plenty of waste that needs to be trimmed everywhere.
I watched the entire debate and I certainly don’t recall senator Cruz saying any such thing about dreamers.
And then when Trump said heâs met with Putin, when he went on 60 minutes, but then the two guys on Kellyâs show pointed out that when that happened, Putin and Trump were in different locations, appearing via remote on the show, so how did they meet and have this great discussion that Trump flaunts?
LOL.
Saw that. And folks are lecturing Carson about embellishing stories. .
Said the Paul bot. I see you’ve done a lot of Trump bashing, while giving props to Snarly and Paul, tonight.
Speaking of trolls.
Well, to be factual, the 16th Amendment violates the 5th Amendment. Additionally, I am given to understand that the 16th Amendment was never properly ratified, for reason that several states had differently worded versions.
He repeated ‘Department of Commerce’ - so we do not know his fifth choice.
