“Cruz wins. That was the best answer of the night. And it defends his immigration front, where he has been too quiet.”
Oh, but Trump, who was the first to raise the issue, and has continuously raised the issue ... he’s just a “hater” by your jaundiced measure. If not for Trump, NOBODY on that stage would be speaking about illegal immigration - including your man, Cruz.
Right?
Keep telling yourself that.
You know, another 'self evident truth' tonight that should be talked about for the new few days by the MSM. . but won't be . . is the Contrast with the deep talent on the Republican side and the dearth of talent on the dem side. I mean, c'mon folks, it's embarrassing. Even the lower tier debate folks. Add them up and it's what 19 or 20 well qualified, totally head and shoulders, Each One, above Hillary and let's see, who else is running on the dem side? . . .
I really appreciate your response.
I must say, YOU are the only one on this thread of thousands of comments, who has even mentioned what Cruz said about AMNESTY for Dreamers. He is for legalizing these illegals. Period.
It’s a reward. It’s a gift to illegals. This is why Obama had them over here in droves from South America. Cruz would facilitate that? Yes.
I don’t like rewarding an invasion, in the style of Obama.
This means Cruz would look over the infants, toddlers, adolescents, teens and young adults, who illegally overwhelmed and swarmed our border to the tune of 100,000 PLUS, over the last two or three summers, and give them a wrist slap followed by citizenship.
It’s pretty stunning. On this thread? Crickets.
Evidently those being polled/taking polls disagree with the “way you saw it”, for Trump.
We get that you don’t like the guy, you’ve done a great job of knocking him, tonight.
Trump got booed by an audience that cheered RINO’s KaSick and Rubio’s pro-immigrant statements. That’s a PLUS for Trump.
Trump did great...considering he’s the frontrunner and was asked the fewest questions/given the least time.
The answers he did give were spot on.....currency manipulation, trade debacle, illegals, etc, etc. Trump lives in Realville....not PoliticalTalkville....that’s why he’s connecting so well with the people....has YUUGE crowds to prove it.
Fascinating.
Don’t believe the MSM lies, Kenny ;-)
I made that very same point on a FB group. These hawkish people who want to poke the bear are insane.
And Trump’s right about the Ukraine, too.
WHY is this a problem for the US to solve? There are a ton of nations in Europe and they need to deal with their own region.
The big difference between Trump and Paul is that Trump wants Reagan’s ‘peace through strength’ and RP just wants to cut it all down. We do need to defend ourselves.
Trump and Cruz won big points with me in that exchange.
Carley, Jeb, and Kasick (sp?) made my eyes bug out with very real fear.
You can be as condescending as you like, but fact is only 30% of the Repubs will be voting in the primaries and they are well versed on simpleton issues like minimum wage.
*My choice? Trump/Cruz. Maybe some of Trumpâs down-to-earthiness could rub off on Cruz and Cruz could walk into the presidency subsequent to a Trump presidency and I think Cruz would finish what Trump started.*
That is EXACTLY what I’d want to see.
I only see Trump running for 1 term and then passing it to Cruz.
LOL
China is most definitely expected to sign on and, when they do, the deal will already be done. So Trump is right. Even though the deal-makers knew that China was probably going to join later they didn’t take them into account when they wrote the damn thing.
Me too. I said that earlier today about one term. But I think Trump passes it to Jeff Sessions.
Where are you getting that Cruz would do all that you claim re:illegals? I have never seen any instance where he has claimed he would do that. In fact, every time he speaks of illegals, he says what I posted. He’s totally against it and he recognizes giving any illegal of any kind any path to citizenship IS amnesty, which he is fully against?
Do you have a link to support your claim? Because I don’t believe it for a minute.
I know but so sad.
Ted Cruz has already done so. There is an image of a sample form on the site. You can thank me later:)

They are joining later. It’s expected that they will sign on.
They’re coming in the back door. And they’ll have the upper hand that way.
The drafters of the deal knew this and didn’t take China into account.
He is for citizenship for illegal children of illegal immigrants (Dreamers). He said that tonight.
