I only see Trump running for 1 term and then passing it to Cruz.
Me too. I said that earlier today about one term. But I think Trump passes it to Jeff Sessions.
This past summer, I had the same thought of Trump governing for only one term.
He would be going on 74 campaigning for his second term. But in that dynamic one term he would set in motion the necessary difficult, sacrificing steps to "make this country great again'. He would set forth his case, his positions to the American public, making the compelling arguments for agreements. That Trump being forthright and honest would expose the corruption, the smoke and mirrors accounting, statistics of the present administration. Show the lies, the stonewalling that were enacted to misdirect our country.I expect similar progressive, aggressive, effective problem solving he exhibited in the The 1986 Wollman Skating Rink solution.
Trump would present the American populace the policies to right the ship of state. Hence he would pass off to the Vice-president, thus assuring a quasi second term.
I can dream can't I?
