The concept of “you eat what you like and I’ll eat what I like” seems to be outside the muslim functional zone.

I would have said: “the Bacon/Ham Sammiches and Wine are both Halal, they have been blessed TWICE by a Rabbi!”

I find myself in the odd position of agreeing with the French for a change.
The Iranians, A.K.A. Persians, have ALWAYS been HUGE pains in the rear. Always. They were the land of Aryans, “pure,” which is how Hitler described the Germans...which is odd because Hitler was born and brought up in Austria. He left Austria when he was 22 or 23 years old.
