DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Presidential candidate Jeb Bush says he once got an email asking if he would go back in time, if it were possible, and kill the baby Adolf Hitler.

"It said, 'If you could go back in time and kill baby Hitler, would you? I need to know,'" Bush told a Huffington Post reporter on the Bush campaign bus in New Hampshire last week.

Bush's answer, according to the video clip: "Hell, yeah, I would. Look, you gotta step up man."

Why kill baby Hitler?
Why not just do a better job of raising him?

Well, what if an undocumented mexican polar bear was attacking Mary, pregnant with Baby Jesus and Jesus had a birth defect and Mary wanted to abort him?

What then Jeb, what then, huh?

Seriously, this is retarded...and gay on both their parts.

Oops! Did I say that out loud?

I don’t know, except the combatants were stalled in the trenches and Germany was sinking our commercial shipping? It’s a question I’m not interested in dealing with.

Germany’s conditions suitable to an emerging dictator began with the Treaty of Versailles. What led up to WWI doesn’t seem vital at this point.

Dear Jeb,

If you inherit five million dollars the same day aliens tell the earth they’re blowing us up in two days, what would you do?

Jeb, you can’t kill someone before they have committed a crime, even if you know they will in the future. We have the rule of law in this country, and besides the ends do not justify the means.

Not that I was going to vote for you anyway.

Maybe Jeb watched the Steven King adapted movie, “The Dead Zone.”

Or maybe The Boys from Brazil.

For a start von Braun would not have perfected the V2 Rockets and because of this no American would have made the trip to the Moon and the Apollo missions wouldn't have happened. Von Braun was the pioneer of space travel.
Perhaps Germany would have become a socialist country like the Soviet Union.

Do you think we could enlist LIBERTY Rush Revere’s horse to help Jeb get there—get Jeb a oneway ticket.

Yes, yes, yes. If any good came of the situation, it was the US learned what not to do to defeated enemies. The occupation of Japan and West Germany was a plus for enlightened governing. And because it succeeded in Japan, we didn’t learn that without total subjugation, nation rebuilding with non-western civilizations doesn’t work.

Iraq put paid to the neocon notion that non-western civs can, or even want, to climb Maslov’s heirarchy to self-actualization. Turns out that is not an ingrained human trait as Islam proves every day. With those folks, there’s not been found a ‘cure’ to murderous hearts.

It would have been a good question to ask Grover Cleveland, but not so much for a candidate today.

As I tried to post when the thread was closed due to the temporary link problem:

The next question is:

Would Assassin Jebbie’s Third Reich supporting Grandfather Prescott Bush try to stop future his grandson from killing him?

Travel back in time and tell Archduke Ferdinand to not take that tour. Stop both WW1 and WW2.

Wow... there is a certain amount of... umm... ostrichlike irony(?) in that line.

You may want to read some of the world news threads on Free Republic as the events that led up to WWI over 100 years ago are repeating before our very eyes... starting with "Progressive" President Stompy Foot.
