Donald Trump has regained some ground lost to Dr. Ben Carson, Reuters' 5-Day Rolling Poll finds. Trump now leads Carson nationally, 27.7 percent to 22.2 percent.
Marco Rubio is now at 12.3 percent, still third place in the race. Ted Cruz is fourth, 8.6 percent.
Jeb Bush is fifth with 6.7 percent of national support. Carly Fiorina is sixth with 3.8 percent, but is currently beaten by "wouldn't vote," which registers 6.1 percent support.
Chris Christie (3.5 percent), Rand Paul (2.9 percent), John Kasich (2.9 percent), Mike Huckabee (2.8 percent), and Bobby Jindal (1.3 percent) round out the GOP candidates above 1 percent.
Christie and Huckabee were dropped Thursday from the main stage of next week's debate, while Kasich and Paul maintained their positions at the primetime debate. The organizers of that debate used an aggregation of polls to determine who would be included.

He does not understand that, as of the moment he became a Republican presidential candidate, 40% of the world hates his guts. He is still campaigning all over the country to be a Hero of the Black Community, rather than campaigning IN IOWA.

I have never met a single Bush, FioRINO or Carson supporter. I have met one Rubio supporter, who was unaware of his immigration history. And I have met numerous Cruz and Trump supporters.
Sounds to me like the media won. Who will be next? Trump? Cruz? Rubio?

I doubt that! I would imagine that Dr. Carson is one of two or three that they’d like to see leave the list. My bet is that they are pumping Rubio, now that Yeb has essentially cratered and the rest of “their buddies” are down in the !% range as of now.

Actually I don’t like the power the liberal media has. If they can get rid of someone that isn’t on my short list, they can also be effective at getting rid of those on top of my list. Just sayin’.

State by state...primaries count. Due to NC moving their primary up they are a bit more important but the most important primary up soon is Florida. Bush is doing horrible here but...BUT the Florida GOP is notoriously corrupt and voters must be vigilant. Florida is a closed and winner take all primary state.

Ben Carson went on Chris Cuomo on CNN and got ambushed. Deace asked: “How many people who vote in Republican primaries watch Chris Cuomo?”

Carson hasn’t campaigned for a month! He’s doing book signings—everywhere but Iowa. Again: He has no idea that he’s running in IOWA, not all over the country!

I use to have a lot of respect for Levin, but apparently he’s not researched Carson’s record. Carson is as liberal as the day is long....on top of being a pathological liar.
My concern is that something comes out about Carson that he can’t wiggle out of and it ends up undercutting Trump’s and Cruz’s criticism of the media, which so far has been very effective.
Well, they aren’t going to go away just because you think it’s unfair.
A Repub candidate who can be destroyed by the pro-abortion media is a Repub who would not be able to govern.
Looks like Paul and Kasich may be the next to fall off the main stage.
Media can not take down Trump or Cruz unless they discover some lies or scandals. The good doctor embellished his scholarship offer from West Point and got caught.
Rubio will see NO attacks from media until the convention. They will in fact build him up, because he will be the easiest to take down in general.
In the end they want Carson down but for now he is their pawn to take down Trump.
