No problem. They win by forfeit.
How many of these remaining games happen to be away games?
For those that are, how are those schools going to respond to the financial loss of ticket sales? And how about season ticket holders both at UM and at whichever remaining away games... again I haven't checked the schedule but out of three games one would think that at least one, possibly two would be away games... "Can you say, "class action""?
This is nothing but cancer. These guys (I could use another word) are screwing everything up for everybody.
Would this be a good time to ax who's involved in stirring this up who is NOT a student at UM, and to ax whose interests are being served by it?
UM needs to deal with it right now, today, and if they can't field a team on Saturday by whatever means then they oughta just shut down football and take the hit on it.
It's not like people won't still be able to go to school. If UM can't field a team, just throw a big tailgate party instead, let the band play and let those young ladies, I hear they're called The Golden Girls, dance.
Surely there's enough money in the state and in the alumni base to deal with it, unless Governor Nixon takes the wrong side along with coach Pinkel, whose ass ought to be the first one fired today before lunch.
Sure is gonna be interesting to switch back and forth between Rush, who as we all know is from Missouri, and my local sports radio show that is hosted by a well-known former coach who coached in the former Big 8 and SEC conferences.
This is surreal in a way. Allegations only, no proof of anything having been done or said by any white person, and certain people are all in a tizzy about it.
Not that I'm opinionated about it or anything.
Stay tuned.
“Oh, and by the way, gentlemen, the DA would like to chat with some of you about certain off-campus incidents you have been involved in since your arrival in Columbus that have been, shall we say, swept under the rug.”
