Family Research Council president Tony Perkins has been broadcasting his “Washington Watch†radio program from Israel this week, where he is helping to lead an FRC tour group. Also on the tour is former Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, who joined Perkins on the program on Wednesday to share her view that biblical prophecy is being fulfilled all around her and that it was more urgent than ever to convert as many people as possible — including Jews — to Christianity to prepare for the imminent return of Christ.
“Almost every article in the paper†has to do with conflicts in Israel, Bachmann said, “and it ties with so much biblical prophecy. This week really was about biblical prophecy in many ways. And we’re seeing as events are speeding up, events are speeding up so quickly right now, and we see how relevant the Bible is, and we’re reading our newspaper, at the same time we’re learning about these biblical events, and it’s literally day by day by day, we’re seeing the fulfillment of scripture right in front of our eyes, even while we’re on the ground.â€
“We recognize the shortness of the hour,†she said, “and that’s why we as a remnant want to be faithful in these days and do what it is that the Holy Spirit is speaking to each one of us, to be faithful in the Kingdom and to help bring in as many as we can — even among the Jews — share Jesus Christ with everyone that we possibly can because, again, He’s coming soon.â€

A Christian having jewish friends is a great way to learn about the old testament. A book that sadly is ignored by a lot of the liberal hippie rock and roll jesus lib churches who pick and choose their lessons from select parts of the new testament.

Jews (except Messianic Jews) are still waiting for their Messiah. They don’t acknowledge Jesus as the one.
Since the Jews are the chosen people, how about concentrating on converting Muslims to Christianity instead? (Or convert them to Judaism. Now THAT would be funny.)
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Christians attempting to convert anyone. Jews, Muslims and all religions have the same privilege.

Peacefully converting Jews is a spiritual death for them. Not even to be considered. And I am no lib, trust me on that. How would YOU like someone to come along and tell you, “Your religion is no good. You have to follow mine.”? Many Jews throughout history have killed themselves rather than convert, because conversion is a spiritual death.

I have people that already do that. They are jehova witlesses. I ignore them and they go away. I am a catholic by the way. Only proselytizing by the sword or coercsion should be illegal.

WRONG, my FRiend. What gives Christians the right to decide that another person's peacefully observed religion is no good and has to be changed to theirs? I didn't get the memo that anyone appointed them G-d and the say-so to decide this.
Judaism is very much against proselytizing others to become Jews. It is very difficult to convince an Orthodox rabbi to teach you the precepts of Judaism culminating in conversion. I am not even discussing the "Become a Jew in 10 Days, Just Add Water" nonsense of the non-Orthodox. Their "Insta-Jew" stuff is not in accordance with Jewish law and the conversion would not be recognized in Israel.
I have a life, FRiend---a Jewish one. And nothing or no one is going to change that.
Knock knock, Christ was Jewish. Hashem is their God. Practising Jews of faith who follow the Torah are saved. They don’t need Christianity.
