US Navy say "light in the West Coast sky" was a Trident II (D5) missile test at sea from the submarine "Kentucky"

Excellent!!
Very good video there. That had to be an anti-balistic missile test. It was successful too.
It’s the best video of it I’ve seen.
What looked like a miss to us, was the near miss and utilization of smaller cluster objects or missiles used to strike the target.
You could see the shock wave circle of the explosion.
Very cool. I downloaded it.
Thanks for the link.
Is it a sandbox game? I only play sandbox. I tried Call of Duty (some number or another) and quit because I hate being led down a path I cannot divert from.
Stick of Truth is sandbox.
Anyone know where it landed? Or hit?
Strictly no. They are like FF10 in the sense that you can go places on your own at will for the most part but you are still playing a linear game ultimately.
Yea I’m a sandbox/open world convert too. I still love me some Persona/FF/Xenogears/saga but Fallout ruined me. Skyrim made it hard for me to go back.
I really can’t get into linear games... I’ve tried....
Actually with Persona it is more a visual novel than a game. What I mean is yes it’s a game with fetch quests and saving the princess stuff but it’s more like a book that plays out before you.
It’s hard to explain.
Remember the pick your path books where if you did A, turn to page 34 and if you picked B turn to page 98? How the choices directed the outcome? It has aspects of that.
Then there’s open combat/magic/summoning like a regular fantasy RPG.
Then there’s the mythology aspect that you actually have to know your mythos/history take full advantage of your options/abilities.
Then there’s the Who done it? mystery aspect you have to be a Sherlock to deal with.
Put it this way. It’s a game for a select group of gamers. If you were a D&D nerd in high school, odds are you’ll love it. If you were a mario Bros gamer, you’ll likely hate it.
“This post should not be (and won’t be) taken down. “
Well, at least glad to see this vanity post was removed from “Breaking News”
ROTFLOL!
A NUCLEAR missile has a NUCLEAR warhead. The one that was launched was perhaps a NUCLEAR-CAPABLE missile, but it did NOT have a NUCLEAR warhead.
(BTW, your “You’re an idiot” ad hominem attack is trite, non-original and boring. Please post more interesting insults in the future.)
I was wondering if this is to impress our enemies or the voters. Not sure.
Probably a coincidence The “airplane contrail” SLBM off the California coast was exactly five years ago.
Well the Telltale Games Walking Dead game was a Pick-a-path game, and that I liked. Maybe I’ll try.
That’s fine, but you were still wrong about the missile’s outcome.
I cannot tell you how I know this.
Check out youtube for Persona 3 and 4 playthroughs. Might like it, might not. But I think you ‘might’ being a cerebral individual.
And also because it has hot Anime chicks, because...you’re Laz ;)
Keerist, the country is going to hell and all you can do is bitch about Southack's headline? Get a grip, man!
Sorry, that should have gone to the person who denied it was a shootdown.
It’s a nuclear missile. And this thread is still in Breaking News.
Next...
Well with the recent tech that announced transparent aluminum is a real thing now, it could have been a Nuclear ‘Wessel’ and we blew a whale out of the sky with photon torpedos ;)
I downloaded the first Fallout to my laptop last night. My sons were not too interested in helping me learn to play. They are used to the PS3 and are pretty much snobs, and I think sexist, when it comes to gaming.
