Fear and hatred from the Left makes Carson a more appealing candidate.
What would you call it? Who do they hate the worst?
So the attack on Carson was because he is black? I don’t see that at all.
Carson continues to show us he is just another GOP-Establishment hack.

that’s the problem,, the left wants you to rally behind Carson because he is pretty far out there and cannot be elected in the general election
Some of Dr. Carson’s problems are of his own making. The pyramid scheme is one of them.
and not to overlook that the GOPe in the person of George Will could not contain himself except to pile on with his own menu of things that will hurt Carson.
I am not a big fan of O reilly but his calling Will a hack last night, two or three times I think, was exactly on the mark albeit it was about an entirely different issue than Carson’s supposed scholarship misstatement.
Didn’t say he was my candidate. This makes him a more appealing candidate.
Anything that gets the Left worked up makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
They hate him viscerally because he’s Christian. I do not believe their thinking is as nuanced as you credit.
They really hate Cruz because he’s Chrisitan and conservative. That’s why he’s my candidate.
They would call us racist! It’s a one way street though. Their narrative, their rules.
Carson should not have said he was offered a full scholarship to West Point. West Point has no tuition so there are not scholarships to West Point.
Second, as a candidate, you have to apply and compete to be offered a place at West Point. One General does not have the power to offer places at West Point. A lot of good people want to get into West Point. Those people all have recommendations from people in power, so it is a very competitive process. Your grades have to be very high. Your character has to be very high. You have to be well rounded.
Third, with Carson’s criminal background (stabbing someone) that would preclude him getting into West Point even if one of his recommendations came from a General. You have to have NO CRIMINAL history.
Maybe Carson did not lie but did not understand that a General saying he should go to West Point is not a guaranteed offer for a slot at West Point. Maybe he did not know there is no tuition to be paid to West Point so scholarships are not a factor. That is a bit dumb but it is not necessarily a lie. There is a big difference between lying and being stupid on a given situation.
