Donald Trump is back in the lead in Iowa, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll. Trump wins 25 percent of likely Republican caucusgoers in the poll, compared to 23 percent for Ben Carson.
Those findings represent a much closer race between the two candidates compared to recent surveys that put Carson several points ahead.
Still, half of Iowa GOP voters in the CNN poll released Friday are still trying to decide on a candidate to support in the February caucuses. Twenty-seven percent have "definitely decided."
The latest CNN survey in Iowa finds Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) running in third place with 13 percent and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) following closely behind at 11 percent.

IMHO, the more Carson opens his mouth, the lower he will go. It’s like a pyramid scheme.
Oh, for crying out loud.
There is still a year to go in this race, every jot and tittle in the polls is touted like some huge breaking news story.
For Gosh sakes, get a life.
As opposed to Trump, who the only time he opens his mouth is to change feet.
I hope your username isn't an indication that you support Jeb Bush. That would be extremely ironic considering your statement against Trump.
These polls will go back and forth based on sample. The ones showing Carson with the biggest lead tend to have samples that include more older GOP where as when wider net is cast Trump does better. The Trump challenge in Iowa is that he has to get his voters to the caucuses in Iowa. Iowa will be a test of this ability. The Iowa primary is Feb 2nd but the way it looks unless someone drops out or something changes to truly upset the current dynamic its going to be Trump or Carson in Iowa.

No, I supported GWB in 1999 when he ran and that’s when I joined FR, IIRC. He really disappointed me in his second term, especially. I just have never bothered to change it. Probably should, but a bunch of people know me by this name now for over 15 years.
In other words, "Anyone-But-Bush" is a landslide at 95%.
Shouldn't that support disqualify you from making comments on other candidates considering GWB often sounded like a dope? Just sayin'.
Does Carson even have any rallys to gauge his true support?
I don’t think so!
LOL, so true. The resident Trump haters are all hypocrites.
Getting close. Around 85 days until the Iowa caucus.
Just replace the '4' with 'H8s' and ya'll be OK.
Shouldn't that support disqualify you from making comments on other candidates considering GWB often sounded like a dope? Just sayin'.Yeah, he did have that same verbal goofiness that males in his family seem to be cursed with. But, I overlooked it because he seemed to be authentic. Trump is authentic, but he loves to hear himself talk so much that he averages so many gaffes a day he basically anesthetizes everyone to it. After awhile, you just shrug your shoulders and say well that's just Trump being Trump.
Just replace the '4' with 'H8s' and ya'll be OK.
Sorry about the '
Well, I don’t hate him. Maybe T4B is the right direction. Basically, I don’t care enough to bother. Anyone on the board over the last 15 years knows where I’m coming from.
I keep saying it’s Trump and/or Cruz. If these guys fall to the UniParty/D.C. Media War On Conservatism onslaught it will be a GOPe orchestrated fight among Bush/Rubio/Kasich.
Carson will be marginalized and Fiorina is the VP-in-waiting.

The media is under well deserved attack, so they need to take down the leaders.
In other words, finally someone did a good job of polling and isn’t involved in some conspiracy to bring down The Donald...
