Ben Carson Gets Angry and Combative in Interview With CNN's New Day
Mediaite ^ | 11/6/15 | Alex Griswold

Yes, you read the headline correctly: mild-mannered presidential candidate Ben Carson got very combative and angry during an interview with CNN's Alisyn Camerota.

The confrontation began when Camerota played a clip of Carson joking that "many" Americans were stupid, and asked who he thought were stupid. Carson responded that those who wanted to keep Americans dependent on federal programs were the "stupid" ones as far as he was concerned.

"So, just to be clear, people who support food stamps or Medicaid or welfare..."

"I didn't say that, now you're trying to put words into my mouth," Carson cut in. "Why don't you listen to what I just told you?"

"It sounds like what you're saying are liberals..." she pressed.

"I can't believe that you used to work on Fox News!" an exasperated Carson said.

Camerota used that to pivot to another Carson quote, in which he said "we'd be Cuba" if there were no Fox News. Camerota praised her former network, but asked Carson: "You mean that if Fox News didn't exist, we would be a communist country?"

"No. Again, there you go with sensationalism," he said angrily. "That's what you try to do. You hope somehow that will resonate with people who don't think for themselves. I've got news for you, people are a lot smarter than you think they are, and they know exactly what I'm talking about."

Not if they see tge exchange. The headline is one thing but the clip is completely different

We are going to not go wobbly. Cruz called game not to tge media following Trumps lead or after trump did or because that’s what it’s going to take

It will get ugly As ugly as this media woman’s makeup job. Get some face powder. She looks like a mall Santa

The media is as powerful as the delocrats and as much the enemy of conservatism as Hillary

He mentioned that.
He mentioned that they did not vet Obama nearly as much. He knows it. We know it. CNN and all of media knows it... and they don’t care.

...

Not stupid, criminal.

Carson is relentless with the media, refusing to allow them to twist his words and put their (progressive) slant on interviews.
Wow. I am impressed, a fearless candidate. This is the real message of the outsiders in this cycle. They are relentless and fearless.

It still needs to be hammered daily, like the left hammer all of their memes.

We're supposed to know what he meant and not what he said?

I hope he does get the nomination if for any other reason than to throw “RACIST” back in the face of liberals every time they even slightly disagree with him.
Even if a liberal don’t like the shirt he’s wearing that day I’ll shout “RACIST!!!” and let them see how it feels for a change.

He is simply not POTUS material.

I feel the same way. I like him just fine but that won’t solve our nation’s problems. It won’t beat Hillary either.

That’s fine and good but our nation needs a leader right now.

- Trump took the lead on immigration. The others waited to see which way the political winds are blowing.

- He took the lead of tax reform. Have the others even put up a plan?

- Trump talks about trade agreements. Carson? Not a thing.

- Trump talks about our national debt. Not hearing much from Carson.

- Trump talks about his support for the military and reforming the VA. I find little mention from others.

We’re not far from economic collapse because of our national debt. The media and some of the candidates are caught up in minutiae. Trump has been talking issues.

We need a LEADER right now. If we wanted a debate champion, it would be Cruz instead of Carson. Honestly, I prefer Cruz to all of them but I believe Trump is the GOP’s best chance to win.

Trump calls our current “leaders” stupid... and he’s being generous. Though lying manipulative bastards might be more accurate.

“He’s acting like a surgeon”

Yes a lot of them are arrogant and frankly I see a lot of arrogance on Carson’s face in the debates as opposed to humbleness.
