The race for endorsements among Republican presidential candidates has been a slow one since we began keeping track of the endorsement primary earlier this year. Jeb Bush has sat atop our leaderboard, but many of his endorsements came before he officially announced his candidacy, and he's received only three since Labor Day -- all from House members.
But this week, Marco Rubio has shown signs of momentum, picking up endorsements from three fellow senators, including one today from Sen. James E. Risch of Idaho. In contrast to Bush's 3 endorsement points since Labor Day, Rubio has received 22 -- by far the most of any Republican candidate over that span.

Then you will of course, sit silently when amnesty passes right? Because you will have no right to complain about what you knew he was intending.
I doubt anyone will say that. You are a grown person and do what you want. You will anyway. It doesn’t matter to FREEPERS what or who you vote for. Are you that significant? I don’t think anyone here is including myself.
Naps, he already promised it. Not 2 days ago and already someone like you has to flat out twist reality.
This folks. THIS is what I meant above.
Never said, nor do I believe, I am. Going to the personal well so soon?
It happens every election cycle. The RINOs come out in force telling us to vote RINO so our vote wont be wasted and singing the praises of {currently favored RINO}. Last time it was The Masshole and this time who knows. However, you can be certain the GOPe will have their boy. Well, they can forget getting my vote... A RINO vote is the same as voting den...no differnce at all.
How dare you advocate a conservative idea on a conservative forum?
Marco Rubio. Candidate from the moderate conservative party.
Interesting to see the apparent inverse effect those endorsement figures have polling numbers. Could be coincidental, but maybe not. The only endorsements that count will come on election day.
They can inch off a cliff for all I care.
Rubio will not have amnesty.
You have an extra word in that sentence at word three.
Inches?
Rubio is the G.O.P.E.’s pro-law-breaking anti-American-worker candidate.
Rubio is wrong on amnesty; like the youtube video shows, he’s “The Amnesty Man.”
Immigration is going to be the #1 issue next year.
And that is why Trump will get the nomination by a landslide.
I think he is R-E-A-D-Y for Hillary 2016. And I don’t think she is ready for him AT ALL.
If Rubio does end up being the Jebacita replacement, and ends up (through RNC dirty tricks and open primaries) getting the nomination, there are two questions in my mind:
1. Is he as bad as Jebarina?
2. If not as bad as Jebiana, is he supportable as our candidate?
It’s still very early and I’m still very optimistic about Trump, but to my way of thinking, I have already come to the conclusion on #1 that the answer is “no”.
I haven’t answered #2 for myself yet.
One problem with these endorsements - the American public is anti-politician.
Not all of us.

Conservative Treehouse research on Rubio.
They can have Senior Amnesty. Bring it on dummies.
Yep Rubio=Romney.
You cannot possibly have read FR very long and not know the answer to that question. He is pro amnesty/Gang of 8, Promised to maintain Obama’s executive amnesty orders if elected and very much is a GOP establishment pol that follows their orders.
He has a leftist gay advocate billionaire.
He was an attendee of the Romney ‘retreats’.
He is every bit as bad as Jeb. And as Romney. And he is lazy besides, horrible with money and attacks conservatives openly on a regular basis. Anyone that would elect such a man has zero business calling themselves conservative. Or for that matter, American.
