LEE'S SUMMIT, MO (KCTV) -
Two teenagers have been arrested in the brutal stabbing death of a 43-year-old Leeâs Summit woman.
This comes after police released surveillance video on Tuesday of the 13- and 14-year-old suspects. Formal charges are pending with Jackson County Family Court.
The victim has been identified as Tanya L. Chamberlain. Police said they are not releasing whether or how the suspects knew Chamberlain.
The discovery of her body came after Lee's Summit police attempted to stop a vehicle about 1:15 a.m. Sunday for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The driver of the vehicle pulled into a parking lot of an apartment complex in the 500 block of Southeast Second Street.
Two men then fled on foot from the vehicle. The officer engaged in a short foot pursuit before losing sight of both suspects.
As the officer returned to the suspect vehicle, he discovered Chamberlain's body in the passenger seat. After working the case overnight, investigators determined Chamberlain had been murdered.

If Obama had sons?
As far as I’m concerned, rape and murder should almost always be tried as adults. Lock these thugs up forever before they kill another innocent person.

it’s dem’ wascally amish again!
Dindu Nuffin, and Culdabe Obamason
I agree 100%. Same with attempted violent rape and attempted murder.
I say skip the lock up, try ‘em and fry ‘em.
Victim is white and the feral animals are black; I presume the national media will not cover this and it will vanish from the local news in a few days.
I’ll be waiting to see this story on NBC/ABC/CBS/CNN blasted 24/7.
But they won’t, because this is REAL crime.
+1
Reached for comment, Black Lives Matter spokesman hasn’t responded in 3:37 since the call intiated... “Hello. Hello. We can hear you. Do you have a statement? We can hear you ya know. Hello. Hello...”
10:13 into the call... “Hello. Hello. We can hear you. Do you have a statement? We can hear you ya know. Hello. Hello...”
The media will keep you informed as soon as they have that statement.
Another day, another one of 20 stories of BLACKS KILLING WHITES. What is finally going to tip the scales to have this sh*t stop??
Most definitely the national news will bury this story as they do so many others.
We’ll be anxiously awaiting the well-deserved condemnation from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, among others.
I, for one, will not be holding my breath in anticipation of such events.
Let me Quote that ugly little bish Jeanine Grafalo “Racism Straight Up” Hate Crime too feralmericans I see
You know, I used to (long ago) think that people who thought the MSM covered-up stuff like this, were tinfoilers.
It’s now painfully-obvious, and with deadly results, that a good portion of America’s population is uninformed about such crimes because of active hiding of such information.
Criminal.
Black lives matter.
Everyone else can blow.
Was going to type something snarky, but after looking at the picture of the victim and the perps. Just sad and angry.
Another sad story of feral criminals taking another victim.
