This problem has existed for hundreds of years. The Articles of War for the Royal Navy stipulated sodomy as a capital offense. Rape of crewmen, especially the young servants and boys who were learning to be mariners were particular victims. The rapists were actually most often the commissioned officers and warrant officers. These men had power and they had some degree of privacy in their quarters and work places. The laws against homosexuality were put in place to protect the victims, not necessarily to punish the homosexuals themselves. While the punishment was death, most often courts martial directed flogging, or where an officer was involved, he was dismissed the service with no hope of reinstatement.
The current regulations only encourage the same sort of behavior that the Navy attempted to curtail. Rapes are not reported because the rapists are in positions of authority and likely to escape punishment if reported. The victim, on the other hand, will experience retribution. Stupid liberals think that their fantasy worlds are exempt from the ugliness of the real world.

Gay rape should end with a dead gay rapist 100% of the time. Something is wrong with a service member who cannot make that happen either during or after the attack, or the next day in what is reported as the start of a second attack.

There has always been male rape in the military but no one spoke about it. Now that there is more help for women who are raped and for the last couple of years more warnings with places to report it without fear of reprisal the numbers are finally being reported because men are using the same system.
If anyone had tried it with me they would have needed the skills of a critical care team. I carried a knife every where since I was about eight years old. Got pretty good with it too.
