I don’t see it. Not a Trump fan, but I haven’t met anyone with any interest in Carson. And Carson’s performance in the debate seems unlikely to have improved his standing significantly. If it did, I cannot imagine what it was. He seemed...limp. It would be like sending overcooked spaghetti into battle.

As slow as he talks, if he did win, his administration would be over by the time he finished mumbling his acceptance speech.

I watched the cnbc debate over the weekend. Cruz was outstanding. Trump did well. Even Huckleberry did well. Carson didn’t F up but (like you say) his performance was weak.

Someone or something is influencing this poll.

No one on this site has the aptitude to understand much of anything. Carson has run millions of dollars of ads in Iowa and Trump has run zero. Do you kinda, mighta, thinka that maybe that is why Ben has traction in every poll.

Ads do seem to work and fwiw, people get their "news" from ads. Seems like Trump should start running some ads, but it seems like he is hedging his bets - kinda doesn't want to put his money where his mouth is. I read that his biggest expenditure to date is T-shirts and bumper stickers...

Just saw a Carson ad here in Vegas. He comes off as mealy mouthed and weak. I don’t see how he surges.

And BTW, that CBS/NYT poll was totally rigged. It had Cruz at 4% tied with Paul and Kasich.
