Ben Carson has surged into the lead of the Republican presidential race, getting support from 29 percent of GOP primary voters, according to a brand-new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
That's the highest percentage any GOP candidate has obtained so far in the survey.
Carson's 29 percent is followed by Donald Trump at 23 percent, Marco Rubio at 11 percent, Ted Cruz at 10 percent and Jeb Bush at 8 percent. These findings are similar to a New York Times/CBS poll released last week, which also showed Carson in first place in the national GOP contest.

Here’s what I hope happens:
Cruz asks when Trump will apologize to Carson.
Trump is excellent at insults. How well can he apologize? And who would criticize Cruz for calling him out?
This is the time for Cruz to demonstrate leadership rather than gamesmanship. And it would be at Trump’s expense regardless of how he handles it.

But politics is a joke.
Trump has no reason to apologize to Carson. Carson, however, has a long list of reasons why he should apologize to conservatives for PRETENDING to be a conservative. He’s a republican for about a year and running for president as a reflection of the Republican Party????????????????????????????????????
HOW about just calling him what he really is.....A RINO liked by the Establishment as a “spoiler” to stop Trump.
