nald Trump and his advisers have decided to work directly with television executives and take a lead role in negotiating the format and content of primary debates, which have become highly watched and crucial events in the 2016 race, according to Republicans familiar with their plans.
Trump plans to reject a joint letter to television network hosts regarding upcoming primary debates drafted Sunday at a private gathering of operatives from at least 11 presidential campaigns, the Republicans said.
The move by Trump, coming just hours after more than a dozen Republican strategists huddled in the Washington suburbs to craft a list of possible demands, effectively throttles an effort by the campaigns and the letter’s drafter, longtime GOP attorney Ben Ginsberg, to find consensus and work collectively to negotiate terms.

Answer: We would see a debate with one less person.
This is, IMHO, the most likely outcome of the Trump Putsch. We do live in very interesting times. No knock on Trump. I would vote for him. But acting alone is like discarding your Ace and King when you are holding a Royal Flush

No argument about the debate format and the panels. They have been terrible. But if I’m a Network Exec and Trump tells me what I have to do or he will drop out my answer would be “Bye-Bye”.
Trump plus the rest have tremendous leverage. They can just not show up. Trump not showing up would hurt but it would not be fatal. He is giving up all his leverage. Foolish.

This is such a major dislike of mine. Why waste time with anyone who is polling less than 10%? Three debates so far and I haven’t had a chance to hear any of the candidates explain their positions on anything. Between insane moderators and the number of candidates on the stage, it comes down to about who was wearing what, who smiled best.

Full disclosure, and fwiw, since June 29, I don’t tune in any debate, interview, photo session, talk radio, article, etc etc UNLESS it’s about and for Trump!!!!....or if I need to defend Trump.
No offense to Cruz folks......I was one for the longest......but he truly pales compared to Trump!
Having said that, I still pray for and covet guidance and directiom.
I want my wants and wishes alligned with God.
From the very beginning, however, I have had the strong conviction the good Lord heard our prayers for this country and is answering them accordingly.
I think it courageous of Trump to step out into this wicked mess and try to right wrongs.
All the forces of evil have tried and are still trying to trip him, and yet he keeps focused and pressing on!!!!

This is typical Trump - “I am the only one that matters.” He lives his life that way and thinks he can do the same thing as president - “I will do what I want”. That is the same behavior as Obama.
The other guys except Cruz are just saying “I can do old politics better!” But so what? Go Trump Go!
