He should have pulled Harvey after 8 innings pitched, as he intended.

Duda throws better than the Mets catcher, D’Arnaud is pathetic, and won’t be back next season for sure.

The Mets really got lucky to be in the series in the first place, Murphy was a one man show.

Other than their pitchers, who all got hot towards the end of the season, the Mets really are not a great team, they have a poor offense and terrible defense.

But I don’t think any team could beat KC this year, they just score too many runs.

The two teams combined for eight errors in five games, it was a sloppy series. Hosmer, for example, is being hailed for scoring from third on an aggressive run after a ground out. If Duda makes a good throw there, Hosmer is out by 10’ and the Meta win the game.

I thought it was a great play by Hosmer. Yeah, he should have been out, but KC a 3-1 series lead, 2 outs, facing Familia on the mound (despite the 3 blown saves, he's a heck of a closer - last night and tonight weren't on him, he did his job by inducing routine ground balls), and an iffy fielder in Duda. Make him make the play.

They showed Olbermann watching the game and hob-nobbing with some other jerks. Hey Queef, the Mets lost!

KC is no St. Louis. The town isn’t going to burn. Besides, this is baseball, not basketball.

The Royals would have won last year also, were it not for perhaps the greatest performance in World Series history by one pitcher on the Giants roster.

Not to take anything away from the Royals, but I doubt what Madison Baumgartner did last year has any precedent or will soon be repeated. Do you?

We are happy in the Midwest. These Royals have been hungry for this since the last out last year. They worked hard and deserve it. Congratulations, Royals. You have made so many of us proud with your character and ethic.

I love Huey Lewis and The News. One of my husband’s and my first dates was to an LA area club to see Huey Lewis and the News before they were big. I think it was called The Country Club. Lots of bands trying to make it big played there.

He also took me to a HIDEOUS group there called Wall of VooDoo. UGH!! I hated them. But Huey Lewis and the News was so great. We knew they were headed for big time success.

We also saw Missing Persons at a different club in that area. I did not like living in L.A for the most part, but there were some perks. And I did meet a great guy to marry while living there. We ended up in the mid=west, which is where I am from.

Well la-de-cogratu-freaking-lations-Da...your little team won a participation trophy.

Meanwhile a foul darkness has seeped into Maridia’s Temple. I don’t hear you saying anything about that. Where are your priorities KC? Oh sure. Leave it to Volarian! HE’ll go be the instrument of light and rid the foul stench wile KC sits around the Palace drinking his warm milk and having a sweet roll. It’s not like HE has anything better to do...

Fine.. Here we go again...

Yes, I have to agree with you. Congrats to the Royals and their Fans. But, I’ve forgiven the Mets after many years and I feel good about that too.
