The Talk Shows
November 1st, 2015
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis.; Republican presidential candidates Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham and George Pataki.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Ryan; Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Ryan; Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md.; Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Ryan; Republican presidential candidates Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Ryan; former Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio; Reps. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Keith Ellison, D-Minn.; Republican presidential candidate John Kasich.
Sharyl Attkisson's Full Measure: 1. For-profit colleges that allegedly prey on military troops. 2. Continuing troubling news on Obamacare from last week.
It has been very quiet about the need to get Senator McConnell out of his role, to complete the set. Of course, trading Boehner for Ryan seems to be just getting a younger version of the same old thing as replacement.
Cramer and Santelli were part of this.
A bunch of open borders losers on the talk shows, with
Senoir Paulito Ryan leading the pack. I think I’ll pass.
I hope Freepers caught the CNBC evaluation of candidate speaking levels at http://tinyurl.com/puoabra
Reading this at http://tinyurl.com/p22l7fy makes it even more interesting. It may explain why Trump is doing so well and why it’s harder for Cruz to get more traction.
That CNBC debate-so unprofessional checked their web site for an apology today, still nothing, so I am going to start trying to watch MEET THE PRESS (NBC) just to see if they address it.
Did they make the study before or after the debate.
You have a top brain surgeon and a Harvard top of his class who has argued in front of the Supreme Court and none of them are over 9th grade level????
I am sure any Marxist will be at post grad level using their criteria.
John Hardwood is a not so deep cover many for several drivebys trying to destroy anyone from our side while looking like such a nice guy when on air.
Carl Caseadilla is a third world hire who was chosen by nbc execs to go right up the ladder. He will do their bidding while giving off all that latin charm. His accomplishments include he showed up for work on time many times.
Your right, last time the House wouldn’t control the spending and the debt grew enormously, any chance with Speaker Ryan would drastically cut spending is way outside; being he wants no overtime, which he should have refused the job, especially knowing he had to work with House Democrats.
Donald J. Trump 2 minutes ago
I told you in speeches months ago that Jeb and Marco do not like each other. Marco is too ambitious and very disloyal to Jeb as his mentor!
Jeb’s new slogan - “Jeb can fix it”. I never thought of Jeb as a crook! Stupid message, the word “fix” is not a good one to use in politics!
Gave up watching these decades ago. Absolute waste of my time.
LOL! Well said.
She's not my choice. Just saying I think she must realize she doesn't have a prayer for potus so she may have her sights on VP. She's Not my cup of tea.
If you noticed during the debate she turned her head away from every speaker for some reason. I never could understand that.
Oh yeah, Trump is dumber than Reagan, multi-billionaire, top TV show and has written two best selling books one of which is used to teach many business classes. Course Clinton and Bernie are genuii.

It was done after the debate and supposedly damns the candidates. It actually shows otherwise.
The second link explains a lot and has some useful graphs to compare writers to various grade levels.
For one thing, it explains why Trump is attractive to more voters of differing levels and why Cruz come across as the smartest candidate there. It’s not true but it’s how it is perceived.
Another woman who is running for President.
... and not a word or question will come from the MSM or any of these candidates on the appalling Muslim 'migrant' invasion of Europe and the USA.
What I find so amazing is that they want to have the Republicans go into infinite details on their tax plans, and actually scoff and challenge them, saying “It won’t fix the deficit, it won’t get enough money to pay down the debt”, etc., etc., ad nauseum.
Yet listen to the same media types conduct a democrat debate:
Mod: “Ms. Clinton, what are you going to do about millions of young Americans who have crushing college loan debts?”
Hillary: “Why, it is awful! I think we should forgive all the student loan debts. It is too much of a burden on those people.”
Mod: “Senator Sanders?”
Bernie: “Hell yes, I agree. Also, we need to make college FREE for anyone who wants to go!”
There is no follow up about how it can be paid for, how it raises the national debt, and what will become of the economy if billions of $ is “wiped out” and all those government backed loans are defaulted?
No questions, no follow up!!!!??? The media is pleased with the answers, obviously?
Meanwhile, back at the Republican debate, we hear:
Mod: “Ms. Fiorina, surely you can’t be serious! Only THREE pages? That’s ridiculous!” (<— note that is not a question, but a statement of opinion)
Carly: “Yes, regular folks do not have an army of tax lawyers and accountants to try to figure out the tax could... And don’t call me Shirley.”
(note I’m not endorsing Fiorina, but was shocked when the mods started arguing with her about it)
I’m sure y’all saw them try to give it to Cruz, Rubio and Huckabee about their individual tax plans, with all those scathing questions and comments and follow ups on why none of them would work. But FREE college, man, that’s unicorn money!
And this from a “business” network?!?!?
Thanks for the great summary, as always! The Sunday MSM parade appears to be focusing on the Ryan story today, then the Pubbie primary/debate. Jeb, Carly, Pataki, Graham, Kasich, Rubio, Carson, and Carly again...no sign of Cruz, who made the defining statement of the debate!!!??? Did Carly win that debate Wednesday night? Two featured performers (Linda and George) at <1% from the undercard? A little surprised there is not more Rubio!
