What I find so amazing is that they want to have the Republicans go into infinite details on their tax plans, and actually scoff and challenge them, saying “It won’t fix the deficit, it won’t get enough money to pay down the debt”, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

Yet listen to the same media types conduct a democrat debate:

Mod: “Ms. Clinton, what are you going to do about millions of young Americans who have crushing college loan debts?”

Hillary: “Why, it is awful! I think we should forgive all the student loan debts. It is too much of a burden on those people.”

Mod: “Senator Sanders?”

Bernie: “Hell yes, I agree. Also, we need to make college FREE for anyone who wants to go!”

There is no follow up about how it can be paid for, how it raises the national debt, and what will become of the economy if billions of $ is “wiped out” and all those government backed loans are defaulted?

No questions, no follow up!!!!??? The media is pleased with the answers, obviously?

Meanwhile, back at the Republican debate, we hear:

Mod: “Ms. Fiorina, surely you can’t be serious! Only THREE pages? That’s ridiculous!” (<— note that is not a question, but a statement of opinion)

Carly: “Yes, regular folks do not have an army of tax lawyers and accountants to try to figure out the tax could... And don’t call me Shirley.”

(note I’m not endorsing Fiorina, but was shocked when the mods started arguing with her about it)

I’m sure y’all saw them try to give it to Cruz, Rubio and Huckabee about their individual tax plans, with all those scathing questions and comments and follow ups on why none of them would work. But FREE college, man, that’s unicorn money!

And this from a “business” network?!?!?

You just hit on one of the biggest irony's of all. CNBC was a business network and everyone expected more from them. Why Kudlow was not up there asking questions along with Joe Kernan no one knows.

Before the debate even with no numbers at all cnbc had a pretty decent rep for reporting business news. They lost it all after the debate. What you saw was the total destruction of a once not so bad network overnight.

Yeah notice when the GOP candidate puts up any plan the “News media” hyperventilates “How are you going to pay for that”

Democrat Socialist candidates promise to hand out an unlimited goody bag of “free stuff” and not a word from the “news media”.

When is the media question for Democrats; You still haven’t paid for your Stimulus bill that failed, health care insurance is un-affordable because of your Obamacare bill, the debt ceiling has to be raised because you can’t cut any spending, how will you ever return a good economy to America?
