I think it's fine if businesses say "No guns". They may lose business, but property owners have rights -- and if they want to say "No guns" then it's "No guns".
But the government shouldn't say "No guns" at schools or public areas. The government should not infringe.

Here in Ohio, if a property owner posts a sign that says “no guns” and you get caught carrying anyways, it’s a misdemeanor and your permit is in danger. In virginia, ignoring such a sign carries no legal penalty but if the property asks you to leave and you decline to comply, than you are in trouble. I think Virginia’s law is more reasonable and should become the model. If nobody sees it, it isn’t a problem so FU and your sign. That’s my opinion on signage.

Why do you have to post that? Why are you forced to point out something that should be so blazingly obvious that it need not ever be said?
Because the media propaganda has won and even the most simple logic faces a tremendous uphill battle.

That’s right. Private property needs to be respected, but it shouldn’t be a crime to conceal carry. Guests should be warned and then evicted if not. Otherwise it is trespassing.

Hotels often have their own immediate security anyway. Better if he says, oops, legal carriers allowed.

I seem to recall that just because a property has Trump’s name on it does not mean that he has any control over the policies. In a number of cases he gave up the actual ownership of several properties that still display his name.

So, it's OK for a business to post “Whites Only” signs?
