After this weeks House GOP budget deal, which betrays nearly every promise made to grassroots conservatives since 2010, I have decided it is time to end my affiliation with the Republican Party.
...The Boehner budget deal is the last straw, and enough is enough. I cannot any longer defend this transparently dishonest charade called the Republican Party.
... I will begin working my tail off for the next twelve months to organize Independents to help elect Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as President of the United States.

Well if he had any dignity, heâd hook himself up to the nearest turbine and help power the country!
He had no dignity because he didn’t do anything to prevent Globull Warming. In fact, he sent people to the adjacent US Army and stole evil, polluting gas from them.
If you see her, ask her to name 1 (one) good thing Obama has done for the country. If she says Obamacare, hit her hard with the facts.
No, you’d spoil your visit. Most libs know they made a bad mistake but won’t admit it.
Figures. He was probably one of those extraction industry types that wanted to use lots of lubrication on his tank treads as well. Freaking military industrial complex...
Didn’t he understand that war is never the answer? The American military isn’t a war machine. It’s a relief agency and social justice organization for crying out loud!
I thought you were gonna tell me to hit her hard in the face for a sec there.
Norm thinks we can conker.
America needs a sober and sane conservatism-libertarianism expressed in a new political party.
No ranting nuts, racists, haters who call people names or kooks. I admit they exist.
We need a party led by reasonable, personable people who can forcefully and respectfully express themselves and get an audience.
People like UKIP’s Nigel Farage.
:)
She knows. Let’s hope so, anyway.
No, unfortunately not the type to ever get a clue.
My solution to that would be write-in candidates if needed.
They tried a special election to prevent a Republican primary involving a conservative for State Senate in my area. The party bosses picked the Republican candidate but the conservative became a write-in and won.
Beat him too it by 5 months.
Good exception, but most people aren’t capable of writing in a candidate.
I’d join Tancredo in a minute if Florida allowed Independents to vote in the primary.
This baby elephant fell into this hole; they were able
to pull him out and he was able to walk away from his
accident. He was so cute! (If it’s the same story I’m
thinking of. Nothing to do with the subject of this
thread . . but anyway . .)
Tancredo is right.
I distinctly remember around 2004 to the latest financial report coming from Washington with irritation. The leadership of the GOP was no different from the Dems. I thought to myself, "I do not have a party". It is now that the masses of Republican voters are collectively coming to that conscience notion too.
Tancredo is a truly good guy. Too bad we didn’t nominate him in 2008 instead of McStain.
Too bad. Some people have to learn the hard way.
Times 50 States, the odds on the same man making the ballot are phenomenal.
Since being elected in 2012, Cruz has authored legislation to increase H-1B guest worker visas by 500%.
Current H-1B workers in the USA number at least 550,000.
Cruz wants to raise that to 2.75 million!
And, about a year ago, Ted Cruz told the editorial board of the Union Leader newspaper in New Hampshire that he would not deport any illegal immigrant in the USA who had obeyed all other USA laws.
