At least for this Presidential election cycle, and also for the last two, the GOP has agreed to debates hosted by unfair moderators who masquerade as "journalists". From Candy "get the transcript" Crowley, to the CNBC debacle October 28, the GOP seems complicit in setting up an unfair playing field. Basicly, the hard, snarky questions are asked the Republicans while the Democrat candidates are served softball questions.
Could it be the GOP is in cahoots the mainstream media and the democrats, and is using the unfair format to decimate the conservatives within their ranks, leading less formidable ( McCain, Romney) Republican winner?
When was last time the Democrats had conservative moderators in a debate?
The next Fox debate moderator Gerard Baker is a FOREIGNER WHO CAN’T EVEN VOTE IN OUR ELECTION!
Why are GOP presidential candidates answering questions from a FOREIGNER?
Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.
Napoleon, IIRC.
"Any candidate who can't handle a tough question from a perhaps unfriendly member of the media probably isn't ready to stand up to Vladimir Putin."
It was a conscious decision to put the candidates in front of hostile inquisitors.
To get Her Heinous elected..
Exactly.
If, as Ted Cruz suggested, the next debate was hosted by Levin, Hannity and Limbaugh, someone would cover it. It would have great ratings.
Why must we always have snarky, liberal moderators?
The way it was supposed to work was to put Jeb Bush on top. But the GOP debate format strategery has back fired. Doom on Priebus, whose days as RNC chairman are now very numbered indeed. Priebus has effed up big time and the elite GOP country club puppet masters are very angry, Buahahahahahahaha!
Priebus has become a great dufus help to the conservative cause.

Well, for those that fail to remember, the new debate format was to solve the issue of bias. It didn’t.
I'd like to have the duct tape concession for that event. GO-Pee heads would be exploding everywhere!
Yes
My old Daddy used to say, “Always remember, son, some people are just no d___ned good.” Actually, he said it more forcefully than that, but what we have here is the GOPe proving him correct.
The answer or your question is, they are just no good.
It backfired, and highlighted the issue of bias.
How about the commen of Carl Quintanilla and Trumps ties being made in Mexico? Very snarky, uncalled for comment that would never be used in a democrat debate.
If the Russians are playing chess and the Democrats are playing checkers, Republicans must be playing Go Fish.
The RNC and GOP establishment types may seem naive or complicit with the news media, but in reality, they are weak and fearful hostages who mostly dare not resist what the media wants.
So far we have had three Republican debates, FOX, CNN and CNBC. From my point of view, CNN did the best job, and CNN was awful.
CNBC was the worst but only marginally worse than FOX.
They are simply doing what their owners tell them to do.
(Hint to the chronically naive: their "owners" are not the voting public.)

So the Clintons go through impeachment and they have all of those FBI files and Gingrich is forced to resign over an extramarital affair, Dennis Hastert is given the job. From what I have gathered the kid Hastert molested wasn't exactly quiet about it and then died of AIDS later.
Apparently Washington politics is just a big stage where the actors aren't necessarily all happy to be there.
Trump has said why. Because these people are stupid and incompetent. I would add they are people who derive their goodness from being liked. It’s sad and at its core....evil
