One night there was not a cloud in the sky when I went into church and it was raining and blowing so hard when I came out that, despite my husband running to the car to bring an umbrella back for me, I got drenched to my skin. LOL
I don’t choose the songs, but I’m always on edge when that one is scheduled. LOL

I was stationed at Fort Gordon, GA in Jan. '70 when that great Brook Benton song (Rainy Night in Georgia) came out.
I heard it one wet and rainy Georgia morning and I've loved it ever since.
