Rubio, Cruz, Strike It Big in Debate
Newsmax ^ | October 29, 2015 | John Gizzi

Posted on 10/29/2015 6:54:29 AM PDT by statestreet

Marco Rubio was the big winner Wednesday night in the third debate of Republican presidential hopefuls, according to a group of neutral observers who spoke to me shortly after the nationally-televised forum ended.

The same group — pundits, academics, and Republican political consultants—also concluded that Ted Cruz made significant strides with his debate performance. Almost the entire panel felt that Jeb Bush, who badly needed to jump-start his troubled campaign, clearly fell short of meeting the hopes of his supporters.

So now RUBIO is the flavor of the week for the media, which means that RUBIO is now leading Trump in IOWA of course.

Take note how the MSM and the other libs are totally ignoring Cruz. Perhaps hoping he will just go away. I think he is the one they actually fear..

Rubio is Jeb 2.0, the new Establishment doll.

Rubio did not “strike it big’ having his missed votes and mis managed finances paraded in front of the voters.

"Marco Rubio was the big winner Wednesday night in the third debate..."

Like Fiorina was in the last one?.... yeah... where is she now?

That’s a plus. Who doesn’t miss appointments and mismanage their finances in this day and age?

OK. It's a Blaze Poll. But I like the result: A Cruz win. Also nice to see Fiorina at 3% and Bush at 2%.

The ONLY thing Rubio did that was the least bit impressive was when he defended his Mama’s social security and medicare, so why was he a “winner”?

The media IS afraid of Ted Cruz. And after last night, their fear had intensified. Not only did he call out the biased moderators, he actually made some good points on a few issues — something he wasn’t able to do in the first 2 debates. As people hear more about Cruz, the more they will like him. And that is giving the media nightmares,

Laura Ingrahm had a Facebook post, asking ten questions of Rubio that the media won’t ask. The questions were about issues that Rubio avoided voting on in the Senate, like TPP. The insinuation was that Rubionwas intentionally missing votes on hot button issues to avoid taking a stance that would anger Conservative voters.

imo.....Cruz is the one they fear.

Did you notice that when CRUZ was brutally chastising them, they were all so STUNNED they didn't interrupt him. They were in shock.

“They were in shock”
They know that what they are doing is wrong. What is amazing is how they have gotten away with it for so long. You can bet that all of the handlers will be telling their candidates to go for the moderators from here on out.

Good observation.

There were a lot of good ‘talkers’ up on the stage.

For those that believe a politician’s ***words***, Rubio, Paul or Fiorina know how to push their buttons.

But for those that have a track record of actually ***doing*** something, Trump, Cruz or Kasich might resonate.

KASICH: Kasich’s ‘doing’ is largely of timing. If fracking were not a growth industry in Ohio, Kasich would not be on that stage. But at least Kasich did not bow to false environmental science that seeks to shutdown fracking.

CRUZ: Cruz has actually risked everything to fight the cronyism of the Senate and has in the process awakened the American people to what really goes in Congress. He’s a hero, he’s a conservative champion.

TRUMP: Trump’s track record is amazing and highly inspirational. His patriotism is real and literally poured in concrete. He is a leader that all Americans should be thankful to have as a candidate because of his real accomplishments, not just talk.

Rubio and Paul have no track record of anything other than talk. They are good talkers and when one hears for the first time, they can be won over. These are very good salesmen but they’ve never delivered anything of note.

Fiorina can’t run from her record. She can blame her HP disaster on a severe economic downturn, but she can’t run away from what she did to Lucent before that. But she’s a very good talker and can fool a lot of people.

Carson is ‘nice’, ‘smart’, ‘endearing’; but not tough enough.

After watching Christie, I’m convinced he’s the next Attorney General under Trump.

Very good. I especially agree with your remarks about Cruz and Trump.......they are the ones that have been leading this revolt against all things or entities establishment.

The others are finally getting up the nerve to become attack dogs as well, but too late. Can't say ME TOO and expect to be credible.

Cruz and Trump dared to step out and say ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

Not going to keep the media from proclaiming that RUBIO is now the IOWA favorite and ahead of Trump. Carson? you've been used.

TRUMP/CRUZ......CRUZ/TRUMP those will be my yard signs.

“Take note how the MSM and the other libs are totally ignoring Cruz.”

When the debates get down to five instead of ten on stage, Cruz fillets Rubio.

I hope not. He’s very hostile to the Second Amendment and way too cozy with muslims.
