Republican debate turns into all-out war as Donald Trump bashes John Kasich,

Wednesday's Republican debate turned into a steel cage match in Boulder, Colorado as Donald Trump tangled with Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush called on Marco Rubio – his political protege – to resign his U.S. Senate seat.

As the CNBC hosts progressively lost control of the event, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz turned openly hostile, accusing them all of being Democrats intent on damaging the GOP field.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie soon piled on the network, with Trump wrapping up his night by claiming he had strong-armed them into shortening the debate 'so we could get the hell out of here.'

The evening event in Boulder, Colorado was billed as a purely economic discussion but turned into a referendum on America's political media, making the Republican-on-Republican rhetorical violence a secondary sideshow.

Claims of media bias became a major theme of the night, with Cruz letting loose the night's first scathing barrage against moderators Carl Quintanilla, Becky Quick and John Harwood.

It was a thing of beauty to hear the Republicans with s spine going after the biased media. They wanted an all out war - they got one - trouble was - they became the enemy. Loved it!

Its gonna be interesting to see how the MSM regroups after this debacle, my hunch is they will react like the school yard bully knocked out by the skinny nerd.

I hope Shep Smith has plenty of valium. He was so hyped up about his latest hero Carson.

Jeb looks so petty!

Stick a fork in him; he needed to look presidential tonight and came across looking like a bully.

No one wants that in a President.

And Trump shadowed every one else.

“Wednesday’s Republican debate turned into a steel cage match in Boulder, Colorado as Donald Trump tangled with Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush called on Marco Rubio to resign his U.S. Senate seat.”

A few moments of fire early on, but the candidates ended up far more united in their opposition to the “media’s” BS.

I’ve been talking on the phone while posting on the debate thread and ALL agree. We won against bias media! I won the best of the best! Trump and CRUZ. They so dominated and set the stage of this corrupt media game of so called debates!

Especially with Trump attracting a large audience, that’s a lot of leverage.

At least Rick Santelli was on the panel.

I watched maybe an hour or so, then I couldn’t take the bias from the moderators anymore

Agreed. They all rose above the BS moderators and actually had some substantive things to say.

I thought the candidates attacked each other lot less than first 2 debates. Kasich was the designated GOPe assasin to take out non-politicians Trump & Carson. Trump did great in slapping him down on the Lehman debacle which was the catalyst for financial meltdown of 2008.

The only other fight was between Bush & Rubio, with the taller tippy toe Bush getting flattened by the shorter Rubio.
