I know there are no jobs. I just explained why. Obama has assured us there will be no jobs. So what is your question?
I simply said we are going to have IMMIGRATION, so make it professionals. It’s truth. It’s going to exist.

Having immigration meet our needs for jobs and research and development suits me just fine.
Our kids are purposely under educated (by socialists) compared to many other countries in math and science (see my tag line) and academia teaches more socialism than basics. We have made that bed you are so concerned about.
I have 3 STEM kids—they were not under-educated (1 PhD, 1 MS, and 1 BS) and it was really tough job market. PhD cannot be under-educated but he put out over 150 resumes and had very few interview-—foreign competition! With all due respect, you don’t know what you are talking about.
There is not a need—it is a myth being perpetrated by the tech companies so they can pay tech workers less. With a 27% unemployment rate for new STEM grads who are disadvantaged with a $12,000 hiring preference for H-1B Visa holders, and high unemployment rates for former tech workers, we don’t have a shortage or need for cheap imported labor. Period.
It is a scam. If it was true, then why would Disney, IBM, Toys R Us ,and Com Ed required their fired workers to train their H-1B visa replacements??? Sorry, with all due respect, you don’t get it.

I’m still astute enough to know that we are going to have IMMIGRATION, so bring in the self supporting, the intelligent, the professionals. These types are even refugees.
Sorry if decent standards for IMMIGRATION gets in the way of your child’s expectations, but I am a little sympathetic to THE reality of our government IMMIGRATION guarantees to the world.
