The author assumes his position is correct. It’s hard to get people to agree with changing the demographics and culture of their country when they wish to have their own children and culture continue to predominate in their own country.

Syria has been in a civil war for almost 5 YEARS. Why all the "refugees" NOW and why so all of a SUDDEN and why in such VAST NUMBERS?

This is a highly organized, well oiled, mobilized invasion of Muslims and Jihadists into the Western World. It's been in their plans for a very long time. Momar Gadhafi predicted and explicitly stated that Muslim domination of Europe would happen without a conventional war and he said so 30 years ago. 95% of these economic "refugees," many of whom have cellphones, are men between the fighting ages of 20 and 40. Very few women and children from Everything I've seen.
Isn’t it odd that the 5 wealthiest Arab States including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait are taking "no refugees" thanks, and feel quite self-righteous about it? No guilt whatever? They are even laughing at us for doing so!
Ask yourself, why would Germany Belgium, Holland, France, Sweden and others want to destroy their own cultures from within? It doesn't make any sense! If this keeps up, Europe will be burning daily within a very short few years if not months. Civil war in the streets between civilizations. Muslims vs Kefirs, that is to say, everyone who is not a Muslim. Unfortunately, the reality is that Muslims are just not like any other immigrants. They don't want to assimilate, they want to set up separate enclaves and implement Sharia Law. Another problem is that while the civilized West rightly abhors violence, conversely Muslims daily display their love of violence. They live it and embrace it. In many Muslim countries, public beheadings and stoning to death for adultery for example. It's a part of their culture precisely because Islam is - dare I Say it - a death cult!
Islam is a supremacist, totalitarian, bigoted, fascist political ideology masquerading as a religion. Islam literally means "submission." The Quran MANDATES death for blasphemy, for adultery, for apostasy, for family honor, for being gay, Jewish or a Kafer as well as ten other "crimes" many not even considered to be so in the West. Death for drinking alcohol or taking illegal drugs for example. Why let in vast numbers of these brainwashed people who believe this idiocy with all their heats and souls especially men of that age when past experience has already demonstrated the tragedy, not to mention the financial, social, and political costs of rampant multiculturalism in Europe. Ordinary citizens are against this immigration but strangely, their governments are not!
Someone or some organization is pulling some strings. Here is what I see. Is this invasion part of the New World Order's plan to depopulate the planet? Maybe there's not even any such an organization but it's all over You Tube and other social media.
The major media are implicit in selling gullible citizens of the West the righteousness of the "refugees" cause and openly siding against Western culture. One drowned child's picture in the right places sparks outrage and sympathy World Wide for the movement and resettlement of vast numbers of Muslims. However the implementation of Sharia Law, No Go Zone ghettos in most countries in Europe and Muslim rape gangs go unreported. In radical Islamist countries honor killings, beheadings, stoning's, cutting off limbs, whipping and torture, pedophilia, child bride marriages, rape and misogyny are their way of life and go unreported DAILY being dismissed as culturally ingrained. Where is the indignity and the outrage over people doing this every day to their own populations? Yet a staged picture a drowned baby on a Beach sparks a world outcry?
Muslim birth rates are 8 children per family while Europeans average 1.4. When these current millions bring in their multiple wives, children and extended families, 85% of whom live on state benefits (England's experience,) you can multiply their number by at least 10x, maybe 20x or even more. By 2050 Europe will be Muslim dominated just by demographics alone. When their numbers are sufficient they will legally vote in their own kind and then Sharia Law. Europe as we know it will be lost forever. Two thousand years of civilization will be destroyed by the same fanatical bearded, bigoted, brutal, boneheaded, belligerent bastards who are now slaughtering their own kind and blowing up ancient and irreplaceable world heritage buildings, monuments, books, manuscripts and other historically significant art treasures in Iraq, Syria and other conquered territories. Neither the U.S. Nor Canada should not get sucked into this quagmire of political correctness just to show how polite and civilized we are. We should learn a lesson from our Australian counterparts.

They are absolutely right to be “hating.” When tinhorn politicians sell out their safety, security, and integrity to a swarm of ingrates, who would not be angry?
Seems to me that Germany has a no sense of self-defense problem.
My theory is Merkel, Putin and Assad came up with this plan in secret. The refugees are too well dressed and organized and it has happening with great precision. Merkel's responses all seem pre planned.
Nathan, your three points are correct, but their is at least one additional: tell ONLY one side of the story.
Nothing at all about Theo Van Gogh and others who suffered from the hate of Islam and the left.

Were politicians bored?Good questions. I do not know. My favorite explanation is: Merkel is a cynic. She does not believe in anything at all. She cares about one thing only: Power. To stay in power, she needs to win elections. Her strategy has always been to adopt and implement herself every policy that left-wingers come up with, to steal their voters, sure that rightwingers are always going to vote for her, anyway.Is that why they set policies that would create problems so that they could exert more control over the people?
Or maybe they just wanted more control? more power?
Create problems so that they can have more control in the name of security?
It used to work wonderfully, until now. Now people are really pissed off (except leftwing radicals), and more and more people are willing to vote for a new rightwing party like the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland). Her first attempt at fighting this development has been to demonize all opposition, from AfD to Pegida. But that does not seem to work all that well, anymore. So, I hope this is going to be her downfall.
I was born there and lived there for 35 years as a European Director for my American company. The average German has been wussified and would not take up arms to defend their own country if attacked. they have become meek and believe that talking and payment to the aggressors would buy them peace. They don’t mind paying extra taxes to further their domestic tranquility. (Example: there was a unification tax implemented after the wall fell and most Germans pay it gladly. Every time a situation comes up, their first action is a special tax. Sad.......
Those folks are certain that it will not be their blood that is spilled.
I think that they are ignorantly mistaken.
They won’t be around long enough to be mired in any form of guilt....they will no longer be in the upright position.

It is also what we are seeing in this country. The political elites have a different agenda than the ordinary citizens (most of whom just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace) and their agenda is the pursuit of personal power and/or their ideological supremacy over all of the society.

I think the bigshot elite have the notion that they will be
all safe & snug in their expensive, gated, exclusive
communities. What they forget is that when the “peasants”
are eliminated by the jihadists; then the hordes will rush
those fancy, gated communities. Even their iron-barred gates
won’t hold up under those assaults; and their armed guards
will abandon their stations in the guard houses to go
home & protect their own families.
