Of course it was. It was also completely managed situation until they became involved.

Anyone else notice how that spill disappeared from the news within a couple of days?? Was it because we learned that EPA workers actually caused that spill, and the media can’t abide anything that would reflect badly on the Obama administration, on Obama’s EPA people????

The EPA spill in Colorado was Completely Preventable Intentional.

So, the EPA people were accurately portrayed by the EPA guy in Ghostbusters who turned off the ghost containment unit.

They did it on purpose. They need the superfund money.

You mean to tell me they didn't check to see what was behind the berm before digging into it? Idiots! These are the same kind of Darwin-nominees who end up getting shot while cleaning their firearms 'cause they couldn't be bothered to ensure they're clear. "Look in the mine first? Too simple Gomer, let's just start digging..."
That is almost, almost too stupid to believe. You could make a pretty good case that no-one who can feed and clothe themselves without assistance could be that stupid. That it had to be intentional. Though having seen some incredibly stupid things...I could be convinced either way.

The Colorado spill would have been avoided had the EPA team checked on water levels inside the inactive Gold King Mine before digging into its collapsed and leaking entrance, a team of engineers from Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation concluded in a 132-page report released Thursday.
...
Seems simple. Why did they need more than a two page report to say it?
