Did you really think the media would go after their own? Here is how groupthink works.

You have to be taken serious to get into the fishbowl. To be taken serious you have to not go against the groupthink which gets you into the fishbowl.

Once in the fishbowl you cannot go too far against groupthink or you will be thrown out of the fishbowl or ostracized so you go along with the groupthink to keep your job and be taken seriously.

Most of the group are Marxists so you go along with that way of thinking and do not stray too far for fear of being thrown out. So if all the fish say she won the debate, what do you say?

Carson denies wanting to end Medicare, proposes Health Savings Account, giving choice to people (vouchers)

Currently spending $5000 per person on healthcare, almost twice as much as other countries in the world, but government system is inefficient and doesn’t provide good access.

Carson system would take current Medicare subsidy dollars and apply the same money into individuals HSA.

That’s what I like about Trump. He’s way to big for their little fish bowls. They tried to put him in one and he busted it into shards!

Besides putting it all together, Gowdy’s hardest job right now is getting Republicans not even on the committee to just shut up and stay out of it. Too many Republicans who are not on the committee are too anxious to get the exposure and/or credit.

The country is being run by a criminal organization and has been for years. They don't even bother trying to hide the fact any more. The District of Corruption is the center of this ongoing conspiracy which includes both Parties and is fueled by our tax dollars plus trillions of dollars "borrowed" from around the world or simply printed by the Fed.

If we can't take the huge and necessary steps to overcome it in 2016 with a Restoration and a total housecleaning from top to bottom - and that includes the criminal prosecution of almost every major political player in the Clinton and Obama Administrations - we are finished as a Constitutional Republic. The only question then remaining is will be whether we go out with a whimper or a bang.

Ben said his doesn’t want a BIG GOVERNMENT PROGRAM... Great.

But his offered solution is no solution at all, so basically he's for doing away with it.

As long as government says they will pay X number of dollars for Y procedure or medicine or care of some kind, then all hospitals, doctors and pharmacies will charge X for it.

So, say a standard office visit (Y) is $75 (X). Medicare, Medicaid will pay up to $75 for an office visit, so now each and every doctor charges that much for an office visit. When/if government raises that price, then so will the doctors.

And I don’t blame them. They’d be fools not to.

But the underlying fact is, doctors, hospitals and pharmacies do not set medical care prices...

The government does.

Until someone figures a way out of this, and lets a free market determine price, we’re stuck with high medical costs dictated by government.

So Carson’s vouchers or HSA, or Medicaid/Medicare, all equal high government induced costs.

Good observation!

Republicans not on the committee sticking their noses into it for press coverage:

You gotta admit there are some serious questions about Gen.Carter Ham who was in charge of North Africa at the time if I'm not mistaken and why he was ordered to stand down once he heard the calls for help from Benghazi.

Even more interesting is how did his #2 man come on the scene within a minute and relieve him of his command so the stand down order could be obeyed.?

Just how well and by whom was this entire raid orchestrated? Who was supposed to be taken out? Why? Are other questions I would have like to have asked.

Also, there were 30 some odd CIA guys smuggling weapons in Benghanzi nearby at the time of the raid where the "expletive deleted" were they when the sh_t started hitting the fan! And who ordered them to stand down as well, reallly pisses me off obviously.

Seems only someone who had control over both the CIA and the military could order standowns at the Benghaiz raid. I wonder who that was.

Oh yes, agree!

That’s why I’m getting closer and closer to being a total Trump supporter.

He is neither democrat nor GOPe. He’s beholden to none of them and the go-along-to-get-along bunch, or the crony corruption that goes on in the marbled halls...

Maybe it will turn out to be a huge mistake, and Trump will be a megalomaniac who becomes the Caesar of America, but...

As things stand now, the Republic cannot hold.

Something different must be done.

Yeah it is. Not a new solution, but a solution. Private insurance is far superior to medical welfare in every way.

So, say a standard office visit (Y) is $75 (X). Medicare, Medicaid will pay up to $75 for an office visit, so now each and every doctor charges that much for an office visit. When/if government raises that price, then so will the doctors.

One problem with your scenario is that if the standard office visit costs $75, insurance companies will negotiate a cost of $50 and Medicare will mandate a payment of $35. So the free market is already setting the price for two of them: the insurance companies, because doctors and insurance companies are free to negotiate a price agreeable to both, and for everyone else, since people are free to pick a doctor that charges the price that they are willing to pay.

As long as the benefits of health care are individualized but the costs are socialized, there will not be an upper boundary on health care spending! (Obamacare made this even worse.)

WRONG!

This is a free market reform, using private insurance, paying market rates to the providers, all chosen by the insured (competition). In his proposal, the government pays premiums....not claims.

Exactly why he is so popular. He is eating the fish and saying what the average Schmo has been saying for years. He is speaking for the people in the room as is Cruz and Carson.
