Let’s put aside the hilarious assumption that the GOP doesn’t care about the Constitution (we’ll get back to that) and focus on the charge that Cruz doesn’t care about the Constitution.

Actually, talking about the GOP as opposed to Cruz, I think I'm with the author on this one. For example, why are they letting Ebola run roughshod over the separation of powers? Congress is supposed to be far more in control than POTUS. What about Bush's "Patriot Act"? GOPe'rs are constantly either doing unconstitutional stuff or laying down while someone else does, and their oaths be damned.
