In her latest round of testimony on the Benghazi attack that left four Americans dead, Hillary Clinton, secretary of state at the time of the attack, was exposed as a liar. But she was careful to avoid any “serious” scrutiny of the 800-pound gorilla in the room: the Obama administration's widely reported gun-running programs for jihadists battling former U.S. government terror-war allies in Libya and Syria. When questioned, Clinton denied any knowledge of such a program, only to be confronted with an e-mail in which she proposed doing precisely that via proxies. Indeed, the fact that Obama has been arming jihadists in Syria is today beyond dispute.
Facing a question by Representative Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) before the House Select Committee on Benghazi, which is investigating the attacks, about whether Clinton knew of a gun-running scheme to Libyan rebels, Clinton said, “I think the answer is no.” Note the caveat. Asked if she knew whether the U.S. government or its proxies were sending weapons to Syrian “rebels” from Libya, Clinton also said no. “Did you ever consider the idea of using private security experts to arm the opposition?” Pompeo asked. Clinton responded: “Not seriously, no.”

I don’t know why Gowdy didn’t ask a follow up question on that subject from two years ago. When he asked that question of her then, she replied - with a lie of course, “To Turkey? Not to my knowledge.” When he pressed her on it, she said she’d get an answer from “the agency” and get back to him. Why didn’t he ask her yesterday if she had the answer for him? Pompeo is the only one who came close to it.

The House Committee tried to take her out yesterday. Everything bounced right off her. No wonder Fox News pulled the plug early.
Hillary is going to benefit from yesterday's hearing, as disgraceful as that is.

I think the likelihood of either of these occurrences taking place are about the same.
She already has. Here in Tampa, Florida, Baynews9 and TBO both had stories titled<, Hillary remains above the fray. The media will turn it into a victory for her and the idiots will never know. Nor will they care.

The hearing was a disaster for House Committee Republicans. Hillary won.
I hate to say it but it's true. We all but gave her an 11-hour long campaign commercial.

No, he wasn't. Hillary chewed him up and spit him out and that's all millions of non-FReepers are going to see it.
Because this is a charade. Yesterday's show was rehearsed and it's outcome prepared a couple of weeks ago. The RATS let the Pubs look like they are trying to get to the bottom of this for their base and in return - the Pubs let the RATS off the hook for high crimes and misdemeanors - nice set up, huh?
We should get used to President Hillary and “first lady” Huma.

Bottom line: she ignored 600 requests for security while attempting to enhance her status as the engineer of Libya freedom,and she either originated or agreed with the lie to the citizens that it was a demonstration, not an attack.
What kind of fool would want this liar for President??
