When the Green family, founders of U.S. retail chain Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., purchased their first biblical artifact in November 2009, they never expected to assemble in only a few years what is now one of the worlds largest private collections of rare biblical texts, objects, and artifacts.
Known as the Green Collection, the compilation of around 40,000 objects includes some of the rarest and most significant biblical texts and artifacts ever assembled under one roof.
NOW THEY WANT TO SHARE THAT WITH ALL AMERICANS, BUILDING A BIBLE MUSEUM JUST IN THE HEART OF OUR NATION.
The museum in Washington, D.C. will be housed in a 430,000-square-foot building just two blocks from the National Mall and three blocks from the nations Capitol, and it will open in the fall of 2017. It will provide guests with an immersive and personalized experience as they explore the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible.

Me too. I ❤️ Jesus.
Amen! God bless you. ChicFilA is great!
Your words of encouragement are sorely need. Thank you for those. After Trump jumped into the ring the skies became a bit brighter compared to the darkness gathered around us Independence Day. We see some light but to really see, we will need a solar flare. Forward, onward....three steps forward and two, back.
I am here and everywhere to do just that ...
Turn Peoples Light On...
Truly, from God
This is what I will do until my race is run
God Bless
Well,he has ears like a vampire bat’s wings!
you got me good :)
i guess i meant how did she get it up here first. FReepers are usually quick to post a thread worth reading.
O is 1000 percent anti-Christian (and anti-Jew, and anti-American)
but I hope the good Hobby Lobby people will be able to continue to fund this museum after O leaves (hopefully leaves!)
many of the rest of the WashDC political hacks could use a little exposure to it, too (and O will never let himself learn anything from the infidels, anyway, so in his case the museum will be casting good pearls before swine...)

Hobby Lobby is responsible for my empty pockets.
It’s so bad, if I start to check out and forget to get hubby his Rollos, the cashier reminds me.
:D
I hate these sensational headlines. Obama outraged! Hardly.
I hold my 1911 in my right hand....I’m more accurate with my right hand, and I’m darned accurate with my 1911 in my right hand.
You have to think this is poetic justice. Hobby Lobby was the company that stuck it to Obamacare and this is turning the knife a little bit.

Also at the museum page you can sign up for their e-mail newsletter (we have done so) and make donations.
It is so rare nowadays to have a company unashamed and unafraid to proclaim that they are a Christian company. I love HL and shop there often happy to give them my business.
I always forget that they are not open on Sundays to allow their employees to attend church and spend family time. How many businesses do that?
They’ve recently put up several more stores in WI so they must be doing well to be able to expand.May God continue to bless their family.
Amen. A lovely quote from the Bible.
