Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Sunday that he would cut funding for the Environmental Protection Agency.
"Environmental Protection," Trump said on Fox News Sunday after host Christ Wallace asked if there were any federal departments he'd cut. "What they do is a disgrace. Every week they come out with new regulations. They're making it impossible."
Wallace then interjected that the EPA's job was to protect the environment.
"We'll be fine with the environment," Trump responded. "We can leave a little bit, but you can't destroy businesses."
Trump also said he would cut funding for the Department of Education.

Someone had to stand up and say this
I’m seriously wondering now whether the “conservatives must be PERFECT conservaties!” meme wasn’t successfully crafted by leftist trolls across the ‘net over the past several years to keep us from fielding winning candidates.
it’s well past time those n Washington DC felt the recession I have felt.
Yeah, Chris, they're doing a bang-up job, aren't they?
The GOPe already hated him. And, now the NEA union, and the EPA employees union too. Put those people to work with the border patrol. The border states can be nice places to relocate to. Not much snow like DC.

Love it. We need a constitutional amendment that requires every federal law to expire after 20 years unless it is specifically reauthorized by Congress and signed into law again by the President.
Well, he got the secret service protection. So his enemies are looking out for him.
Well, that's a setback...
Don’t only cut the EPA and that affirmative action haven Department of Education........
Bulldoze the buildings and salt the earth. Even better, nuke them from orbit it’s the only way to be sure.
Lets show them first hand what decline, downsized and eliminate jobs looks like close up.
LOL!! No Kidding!!!
Federal employees will never taste unemployment — not now, not yesterday, not tomorrow
Great idea. Agencies like the EPA are now nothing more than make-work projects for “activist” liberal grads who can’t get a job in the private sector because they’re almost impossibly annoying and have no other skills but smugly telling land owners what they can do with their own land.
People can say anything. I do not believe it wlll happen. However, out of everybody the odds of Trump doing it are most likely, but nevertheless, I believe in the depths of my soul that even if Trump is elected, nothing will change
Even Reagan did not dare to touch the subject.
My rapidly approaching vision is a naked DC Establishment strapped, entirely naked, to an operating table, with The Donald, dressed as a surgeon, approaching them with a giant bottle of castor oil in one hand and a funnel, long gastric tube attached, in the other. The Donald, with a smirk, saying, “ Don’t worry, this won’t hurt too much.”
Amen to that. The best way to improve the over all economy on the country is to have unemployemnt in the nations capital at 25% and collapse the housing market of Northern Virginia & the DC Metro!
The biggest obstacle to cutting back Federal agencies is all the useless “workers” and porn surfers who would be put out on the streets looking for work. Plus in DC at least half the Federal drones are affirmative action hires of one kind or another, black, gay, lesbian, Hispanic etc etc handicapped and so on...
ALSO ADD all the Federal contractors and consultants who who will cry bloody hell when the EPA, Dept of Education, and other agencies get cut back by Donald Trump.
All the above have Congress critters and Senators who protect them and their jobs and income streams
I understand your point, but this is no time for sobbing pessimism. This might just be our last hope. WORK LIKE HELL!
