A viral photo of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is making its way across social media, quoting the real estate mogul as saying that if he runs for president one day, hell run as a Republican presidential candidate because Republican voters are dumb. Yet, the meme has been proven false.
Snopes reports that the alleged quote supposedly happened during a 1998 interview between Trump and People magazine. The meme, created anonymously, quotes Trump as saying the following.

When did Fox news come into being influential? 1998 seemed kind of early for anyone to be criticizing people who watch them.
No tingles there, just pissin’ and moaning! LOL
what did this guy say that Jindal had lied about?
his critique of the thump psyche is dead on the money SAD to say
the donnie is a Narcissist! it doesnt take too many degrees to ascertain that fact
True, but Trump jumped the shark with the W comment.
It was foolish and unnecessary and could hurt him.
I’m more inclined to heed the campaign observations of someone whose poll numbers are a cut above microscopic.
footnote question
Is Thump not...”...constantly telling us how big and how rich and how great he is, and how insignificant everyone else is”?
Well, they are, good they admit to it.
Nah, GWB is a loser. He was a nice guy but an awful POTUS because he had to do what was expected of him by his handlers.
I sure as hell wouldn’t stick up for him mainly because he would not stick up for himself.
That tells me he knew he was wrong. Whole thing was nauseating.
They are. They nominated McCain, Romney and continue to vote for people who consistently work against them.
I’d call that stupid.
Lets face it your boy Teddy at 7% in the polls is not exactly blazing a trail to victory. No wonder you have to seek excitement on a Trump thread. :-)
wow.
your assumption seems to be that the everyone else he was referring to excludes you ??
wow
Envious, are we?
That doesn’t make sense.
Im so glad that I can count on polished scholars like yourself to examine the messages posted here and make references that are so out of context as to be laughable..... were they posted by a rugrat.
Thumper Loves You
Thanks For Sharing
Mikey, you are one of my favorite anti-Trump people because you are funny. I especially like "Thump".
But The Donald is not all about The Donald. Otherwise, he would not be selling "Make America Great Again" caps and making the phrase his campaign slogan.
In other words, he knows it's not about him.
Did you type that with your toes?
TDS sufferers getting their jollies off of Trump threads? Eew.
And then along comes Donald Trump, a big rich man with a big mouth, big plans, and a big personality, big enough to take these liars down, and quite adamant he wants to do so, not to mention stopping the invasion on our Southern border. An invasion which the all liars, right and left, tell us is an act of love and that diversity makes us stronger, not to mention sending them is just too difficult and expensive, far far more expensive then supporting these lawless parasites, endlessly multiplying like rabbits!
So if you want to call us mindless followers in a cult of personality, so be it.
Now what should we call you? A blind wishful magical thinker, who would have us all again blindly loyal to the status quo, and the ruling elites no matter how many times they betray us, by rejecting this so-called cult of personality? Should we call you one of those who believes this must the best of all possible worlds, that God is in His heaven, smiling upon corrupt Washington cartel who have been running the show, and so all is right with the world? As incapable of independent rational thought as you tell us we are?
Or should we just call you stupid?
