I am fervently hoping that Trump’s performance in Iowa and New Hampshire trounces Jeb Bush and pushes him into the ignominy of irrelevance to the point his PACs see the writing on the wall and desert him. This is job one, IMO.

"If they stay solid, they could turn out 23 to 26 percent of the vote enough to win, a longtime Republican operative in Iowa said to NBC News."

The Iowa Caucuses are losing their relevance as it is relatively easy for a minor candidate to game. In 2012, Rick Santorum personally drove through all 100+ counties and lined up the necessary number of people to stand for him. The resulting victory was meaningless as he did horrible in all the rest of the primaries. In fact, it's been a poor predictor of the eventual winner for quite some time. Even Ronald Reagan lost there in 1980.
But we all know that if Trump doesn't win Iowa, the media will sensationalize it as a major defeat and comeuppance. So I hope Trump has all the stops pulled out here and wins big.
